WhereIsVictoria...yeah I'm thinking the same thing...If she got fired from Sirius she probably won't be able to move to another channel. Seems like they only do that when a channel gets canceled.

She removed the Sirius address on her IG bio and replaced it with somewhere else (?). The comedy show is still being marketed with no changes to the copy.

I feel like it had to be something serious. When Patrick's show ended he was the one to tell the listeners and they had a "last show" where people came in to say good bye.
Either way, I am completely bummed. Personally, Jenny Hutt is a snore and I really hope Sirius finds someone a little more upbeat to fill they time slot.
I'm on board with the podcast idea especially if she does something with Kenny. I think they made an awesome team.

If the trip were the issue, wouldn't they just tell her to cancel it? Seems a little harsh firing someone over something that was still months away. She had time to cancel if they asked.

Totally just guessing here, but she was doing a show from the island, so it sounds like Sirius is involved (even if they weren't), I would think if someone got hurt, or something happened, Sirius could be sued.

there are a lot of reasons. I'm not business savvy enough to know for sure but i'm shocked too that they would fire her for it. asking for money via email, promoting it on her show and broadcasting while on the tip, it didn't seem put together very well or professionally. Maybe she didn't go through the right channels. i don't know.

This is super mean, but I wonder if, at this awful moment, she's regretting her divorce - having that pool chemical money to fall back on would come in pretty handy right now. Also, you know Taylor is envisioning those wicked sisters-in-law laughing at her expense!

I 100% think that Taylor was fired over the Turks trip. If this were a matter of her contract not being renewed, I'm sure she would have known ahead of time and been given the chance to have a goodbye show like Patrick did. I don't think it is a coincidence that she removed the vacation posts on Saturday and she is gone now. Think of the liability from Sirius xm's perspective. She marketed the trip as a Wake up with Taylor trip (therefore linked to Sirius). Then she asked people to email her their credit card info. Imagine if people's credit card info was breeched? Imagine the lawsuits Sirius could face? I hate that she was fired but I think her greed got the best of her. I hope this is a wakeup call for her.

I was thinking of that, makes me really sad. Awful enough being fired, but thinking of people like Victoria, and Brett's family being happy about it hurts my heart for her While I haven't enjoyed the show in a long time, I did use to love her and have only wanted to see her put in some work and be the amazing person we knew she could be. I hope this is the push out of her comfort zone she needed and starts something amazing!

It won't be a wake up call for her. This will be another example of how she is being victimized, to add to her arsenal. She's a professional victim, and they never hold themselves accountable for anything - ever. Even when she has pretended to hold herself accountable for certain indiscretions/mistakes she has made, she always reveals later on how she isn't actually sorry/didn't really think she was in error. Like the situation of not calling her friend when her friend's mom died. She never actually owns her role in any of her issues. I don't have any sympathy for her at this point. Good riddance.

From what I've seen with past canceled SiriusXM shows, I think they only allow their hosts to say goodbye on air when they're staying on with the company in some capacity: Patrick moved from Cosmo Radio to a sports channel; Jenny Hutt from the Alexis Stewart show to her solo gig; Larry Flick (the only OutQ host allowed a goodbye show when the entire channel was yanked!) to whatever crap he's hosting now. Management is afraid the fired hosts will badmouth the company on air, which sucks for the loyal listeners. Even if she can't give all the details, Taylor should definitely reach out to her fans today with an Instagram live post, if only to give an update on what she's planning next.

First off, welcome! This is a discussion board where everyone gets to share their thoughts & opinions, everyone belongs. However, not everyone here kisses Taylors ass but we don't call each other out as haters because we have differing opinions..We just don't sugarcoat the truth.

I really hope that she is reading this and reaches out to let us know wtf is going on. honestly, the show did get a little slow after Kenny left, but I thought that it was really just settling into itself again and then this?! If she is no longer employed w/ Sirius she will not be back on the air with them. However, I think she needs to take the advice of many here and start a podcast ASAP even if she doesn't keep it forever she needs to tell us what is going on ! Even if she cant get into details etc (as usual ...) we deserve to know I am absolutely devastated!!! Similar to how I felt when Dr. Jenn left. I can't handle this one honestly..... I am really upset about it.

I agree, I think she needs to get on something ASAP while people are still thinking of her. I think if she could go back to talking about her life, she could have a killer podcast. Rich Catholic girl, marries Jewish guy, divorces and now dating hot woman....if she can keep it fresh, she could get a really good following.

Yes! I love Taylor to death but I am sick of all the "cant talk about it" crap. I know that maybe it isn't in her control and nothing against her but it is super frustrating! This is nuts and I thought my app was acting up for a good half hour before I thought to check IG and saw her bio. Unreal .... very upset about this. A lot of questions for sure and she needs to get back on and talk about SOMETHING now before people stop caring, like you said. We have all been listening for so long (6 years for me) and I just cant imagine my life without her in it! I thought the same when Kenny left but this is more extreme. Killing me & I need to know when we will hear her next.

She said on IG she will update when she can. I was let go from a major company a couple years ago and in order to get the severance package you have to sign a paper saying you will not discuss the company or the package received with anyone. I am assuming Taylor is being smart and wanting to speak with her lawyer before saying something she shouldn't. She has been with Sirius for a long time and I am sure they didn't leave her with nothing.
Maybe they gave her a year to get the show on track after Kenny left and the numbers just weren't there? Either way, I don't think we will ever get all the details because of potentially signing a NDA to get a package. JMO
