It's crazy, right? I can't believe anyone could believe that Howard Stern could possibly be concerned about any show on that station. Howard Stern IS Sirius- it was created with him in mind. No one will ever be as big to that channel as Stern is until he retires; if he even really knows every host of every show at that station, I would be very surprised. He may not even be aware of Wake Up with Taylor- why would he be?

Hi everyone! I've been listening to WUWT almost every day for like 12 years. I have lurked on this board on and off, but I have spent several hours on it in the past few days so I finally decided to create an account. You people are super entertaining and I share the same point of view. I'm also part of the FB group. I'm not super active there but have occasionally liked comments and left a few responses. I do think many of them have definitely gone off the deep end in the most annoying way. That being said, I am sad that WUWT has been cancelled. I found the show entertaining, even though half of it was repetition of the same old stories. Side note - I don't think you can consider a boy you "dated" in middle school to be an ex-boyfriend by the time you're in your mid-thirties, but whatever. - I did like the show for the most part and I'm feeling a bit of a void. All of that to say that I bet there are a lot of the same people who are basement dwellers and FB groupies simultaneously. Both sources have been entertaining for me for the complete opposite reasons. The dark side seems waaaaay more legit though!

I agree we have to be careful not to generalize that everyone in the fb group commenting is off the deep end. Some of them are, but most of them are probably somewhere in the middle. It's the same thing as Taylor and others making the generalization that we are all trolls.

Welcome!! I agree a lot of them on the FB group are crazy, but I have noticed quite a few of them coming around to reality as we slowly fill them in on all the actual details (of the trip, of Kenny's departure, etc) As much as they claim to be ride or dies, they certainly don't pay much attention to what is actually going on lol.

I feel bad for the FB posters. I'm honestly concerned for some of their mental health, the reactions seem way over the top. I understand that a disruption to your daily routine can be upsetting but please, put that righteous indignation toward something more productive. I was sad when Kenny left but honestly, he has moved on and so have we. It's all okay.

I chuckle a little bit when some of them come after people posing "negative" things and ask them why they are putting so much energy into someone they don't know. They are putting TONS of energy towards this, probably more than anyone on this board.

I don't know why these people on FB don't have any shame. Does anyone else think that they are being a little TOO MUCH and that Taylor would probably think they are quite psycho and have no life, with all the whining and "I CAN'T GET THROUGH MY DAY" posts? I just have to say. I am very sad about all of this. I was very sad when Patrick went away, was very sad when Kenny left. But. Life goes on. Tay had such a good run. 11 years! That's a long time. I've tried to think of entertainment that has been around for that long. Grey's Anatomy... that's all I got (that I really care about anyway). Shows (TV and radio) don't last forever... These people on FB are acting like their entire worlds have ended! She'll obviously be back in some capacity, just be patient. It's been what? 4 days? She's taken longer vacations than this. They are driving me bananas!

I haven't slandered her. I haven't used profanity. I have asked for clarifying information. It is her supporters telling people to F off.
