Pains me to do this....but what would you like to see in a morning show? Who would you like to host? B-,C-,D-lister? Rotating co-hosts? One of the existing co-hosts? After listening to Jim and Sam the other day, sounds like comedians are doing pretty well. What topics? Despite Sirius customer service responses, I think they're really missing a good female centric show...something that would apply to a really wide female demo age too.
And maybe, just maybe someone at Sirius is reading this and we get what we want....you know cause T has rubbed off on us!

I would love JM first thing in the morning. I don't think it fits for her schedule, but it is just such a well put on show, the times though make it really hard for me to listen live.
2nd option, I hate the show, but a View type format. A few hosts discussing different events. A Mom, a young and dating. maybe newly divorced woman. Just a good mix of people to get different life stories and different views on topics. That's what was so great about WU years ago, Taylor was sort of starting out in life, Victoria came from money & was married/divorced/gettingmarried (remember her never going to Walmart?!?! lol), Kenny lent the guy view. It was just such a good mix of people & personalities made for a dynamic show.
I love Sam's show, too much wrestling talk. His interviews are awesome, but yeah, don't care about wrestling. I wonder what happened to him? Him & Taylor used to do each others shows all the time.

I'd like to listen to Rob Schuter with a female comedian cohost.

That would be an interesting story!! Remember Sam used to have his own show!? Now he does morning's with Jim Norton. channel 103 @ 8am. I listened to it the other morning on a long drive and while it was a lot of guy talk, it was funny. Very howard-esque frat boy kind of talk though...not something I'm going to go out of my way to listen to daily.
I'm with you! I think a couple of girls and a guy in different life stages would be awesome. Every once in awhile the mashup hosts get talking and I like it, but something is kinda cold about them. Like they don't actually like each other off air.

Yeah, Jim & Opie used to do a show, Opie went to afternoons (I think some issues with Jim) and Sam moved to mornings with him. They used to have a lot of the same guests as Taylor, one hour the guest would be with one, then the next the other, sometimes they would also do Jenny M later. The difference in the interview quality always blew me away. I knew she wasn't the best, but compared from one hour to the next with a different host. they were really quite terrible.

Wider and Kenny for the mornign show!! Or Carly could do it alone. I like Rob, but it's a woman's channel, and he focuses on celebs and gossip. Needs more than him and he couldn't interview people without stealing the spotlight

I don't think Kenny would ever want to do another radio show like Wake Up- he has said on Open Wider that he is relieved he doesn't have to talk about or care about pop culture stuff anymore because he was never really interested in all that celeb gossip he used to have to talk about, it just doesn't interest him. He seems really happy with the Wider podcast and his comedy shows. I wish the FB page would leave him alone- they keep hounding him to weigh in on the situation or to hook back up with Taylor for a project, but I get the feeling he has no interest.

No, and its just uncomfortable reading that stuff. Didn't sound like their friendship was very strong near the end, or has kept up since he's been gone. I would think they would have had her on the podcast if it was. A lot of bridges she's burned a long the way and its gonna come back to haunt her now.

I miss Clay and Rob... I wish they could team up with Carly (if she was with one of them, there definitely wouldn’t be constant “guuuuuuurl” going on!).
Sigh...if only Taylor had taken some of the feedback instead of considering herself above it all. But I guess when you live authentically, you stick with what you know. 🤔

Because for Taylor, people are "out of sight, out of mind". She has no use for anyone she has to make an effort for.

I only started listening to WU when Kenny's wife was pregnant and their dynamic felt a bit forced to me. There was a guest co-host on when Kenny was on paternity leave that I loved (Michelle, I think?) but I don't know where she is but it would be nice to hear her again.
I would love a show with 3 co-hosts to give different perspectives. They should make sure that they have someone who can interview well without making it all about them.

Michelle is on the Jenny McCarthy show FYI!

Thank you!!! I don't listen to JM because of her time slot but maybe I will have to start listening on-demand.

It is such a good show! I wasn't interested when she started, figured she was a bit of an idiot and really high maintance. She is just the opposite though, she preps so well for interviews (like reads guests books!), has great questions, just very engaging and she's super down to earth. Best Friend Fridays is the best, so listen to todays if you can!

Agree! It took a little while for the show to hit it's groove, but I love it now! Jenny actually preps for her guests (imagine that!) and seems very humble and gracious. Instead of bitching about her job, she says Sirius is the best job she's ever had... She loves that she's able to be herself on air and interact with listeners/fans. I love the interactions with Michelle and David, and I agree BFF Friday is best!

Yes to all of this! I listen every day on demand. The three of them are so different, but work so well together.

I agree! I listen to her most days. I've been very impressed with Jenny and they've definitely hit a good groove. The "brother/sister" fights between David and Michelle get old and some of the made up music clips are a bit much...I wanted to rip my own eardrums out with that anniversary one they have a few weeks ago. And such a nice mix of guests, some big names too! But then again Jenny can be weird...the astrology stuff and ghosts and other dimension stuff...I'm never sure if she's being serious! lol!
I so wish Jenny would have given T some pointers or hell just life advice. But I'm sure T was like "I'm more of an expert in radio than Jenny".

OMG everyone. This show is miles ahead of WU in production value and Jenny is so much better to her listeners.

She's super sweet, she is always so thankful that people called her She has a couple of regular truckers that call in that are hilarious!

Well, now you girls have swayed me to give Jenny McCarthy's show another try- I've tried listening a few times and I didn't like that much. But then, (and this is probably sacrilege to say) I hated Wake Up the first couple of years I had Sirius (back in the Victoria days). I would tune in in the car sometimes and thought both ladies were ditzy and annoying. Kenny was producing back then. Then a couple of years later I listened to it and by then Kenny was the co-host and then I loved the hell out of it. So I suppose it just took time to grow on me- maybe Jenny will, too......

I love Jenny's show too. She is an excellent interviewer, is able to talk to anyone, is appreciative of her listeners, and is just a genuine, humble, generous person.

This is what struck me so much about her, she is just so gracious with every caller. Like she really is thankful that everyone has taken the time out of their day to call her!

Did anyone catch the replay of Jenny Hutt's interview with David Arquette this morning???
She did a good job! I just kept thinking there is no effing way T could do this. He got deep and emotional!
The replay was due to technical difficulties for the first 20 mins? this morning, so I'm not sure if it will be replayed this evening. But if you, I'm curious to hear your thoughts.

😂 Be careful with all that "women's channel" nonsense... there are some ladies on the Facebook page who find it very offensive that Taylor's show was considered "women's programming"! 😂
I love that Nekia popped in and said "Yes, that's exactly what it is!" lol

I'm not minding Jenny Hutt. I like how she involves Katie! She has an interesting perspective and Taylor never let her talk.
