Anyone have great holiday gift ideas? I think the best gifts are things people wouldn't buy for themselves, and are fun/luxurious, but also useful. I'm pretty good at finding things for the ladies, but I struggle with the dudes in my life. What are some of your go-to gifts?

The best dude gift I've found is if said dude has a pet- get a custom painting of the pet. All you need is a photo of the pet (which, if you don't have you can hopefully pull off FB or IG). There are tons of artists on Etsy that do this. I know where I live, at shop-local holiday boutiques, artists have pop up shops for this type of gift. Just give yourself several weeks if you are going to order because turnaround time is not quick!

Got this for previous boyfriend. He loved it, but we never used it (things went south shortly after xmas and who wants to commemorate hate-sex, right?). I plan on buying it again for current boyfriend. Uncommon Goods website has a lot of cool, unusual stuff. thegrommet.com is a similar site.
Good call on starting this topic, DB! Men are sooo difficult to buy for!

Ugh they are! My dad's hobby and his job are the same thing (airplanes), other than that the only thing he's into is Formula 1. Lol neither of those leave me with many, at least remotely affordable, gift options. And my husband's hobby is also his job - he works in the golf industry, which means he literally gets anything golf related for free so there's no point in me buying him anything.

What about a formula 1 coffee table book?
That's a good idea! I'll have to see what I can find.
If anyone else has racing enthusiasts in their life, I bought my dad these documentaries last year and he really liked them.

That's so nice! I've been looking at similar watches from Jord, but this is a wayyy better price point! Thanks girl!

My Dad collects watches (it was funny, not knowing what the other was getting I got him that and my Mom got him a watch box) and he loves it!

We did beer of the month club for my dad once. And Etsy is a really great place to shop for anything. Really good for movie buffs or fandoms! They have any and everything on there! And Groupon always has random fun finds!
Annnnd I️ took my fiancé skydiving once using a groupon (research the company before you buy) but it was the best experience! Or a helicopter tour if you’re in a big city!

My hubs and I haven't done gifts the past couple years (got married, honeymoon, we do lots of little 'thinking of you' gifts on a regular basis), but I told him I'd get him a new iphone. I asked him for a gravity blanket because I looooove to bundle up in hoodies & throw blankets. If you're not familiar, they started as a Kickstarter & raised almost 5mil:

(can't link directly, I'm too new?)
If a friend/relative is into their pets, I received one of these of my dog last year, it was the cutest! They recreate your pet and give them a mini-me:
cuddleclones (dot) com
If you're into housewives, a girlfriend also got me a Lisa Vanderpump prayer candle(!) on Etsy, almost pissed myself. Saint Lisa is on display in my kitchen. #goals

I KNOW, it's the best. One step closer to miniature ponies.
