What is Kenny doing these days. We talk a lot about Taylor's lack of social media presence but Kenny seems just as bad, it seems. And always has been not great at posting. I just looked at his website and the only show listed is from nearly a year ago in April. Is he just semiretired and being Mr. Mom? That would be a cool gig. He definitely seemed like a big kid and would like reliving childlike experiences through his kids eyes. I know he does Open Wider.

Yeah, he has the podcast, still does some comedy stuff, but mostly just focusing on his family right now, I think. The new baby kind of put him back on hiatus.

I think he does Open Wider and then, yes, what you mentioned (Mr. Mom and semi-retirement). I believe he has a show coming up, as well. The thing with Kenny though, as far as social media in concerned, is that he's not trying to "make it big 🌟" like Taylor. He appears to be really happy at this point in his life. I also think it's cool that he's not constantly posting crap in social media... like he's being present in raising his boys and not watching them grow up through a screen.

I don't know anything about it, but I know he was in Michigan last fall filming another movie.

I think he’s entirely happy where he is and I get such joy listening to him and Wider together! I really wish they would do it three times a week. They’re just so funny together and I love the discussions! He announced new tour dates on their podcast and sometimes plugs them on insta.

I LOVE kenny and I LOVE his podcast with Wider. It's so fucking funny. the later ones are the best with Kenny's comedy shorts put in. I htink he is just taking time off from his standup career because of the new baby. I would also love it if his podcast was more then once a wk.

I think this is spot on! One of the OW episodes, he talked about how much he had to sacrifice when they moved to PA, but that it was worth it for his family. I do wish we got to see more of him though, I wish he would Periscope again!

Yeah, he is starting to do the funny recorded skits now like he used to on Wake Up- I loved the Elf on the Shelf at the doctor's office.
"Mr. Shelf, can you tell me why you are so depressed?"

I know it would be easy to give him a hard time about the lack of social media presence, but as secco said above, he’s not in the same place as Taylor as far as seeking fame (right now, anyway). When they moved to Pittsburgh, it was so Chelsea could work and Kenny could be the stay-at-home dad, along with being closer to her family. He takes that very seriously and while he’s doing the podcast and a few shows here and there, it seems to be enough for him right now. (It certainly would be more than enough for me!) I know I would love to see him at a comedy show, and it’s frustrating not to know where he is going, but with the 2 small boys, I just assume he’s really not at this point (going anywhere).

So, do you think there is anything behind Kenny never being on the show? Him & Wider are doing two a week now, so assuming it’s not a time thing, and Taylor has mentioned NUMEROUS times this week she pays the cohosts, so that’s not either. Maybe just moved onto another chapter?

I was thinking the EXACT same thing!!!

I would think it would help him getting more listeners, so I’m assuming something else?

It think if he gets to the city and doesn’t do anything then I would see red flags.

He probably does his podcast at night once his wife is home and the kids are in bed. There is no way he could do the show from 8 - 10 AM with a baby and a toddler in the house.

I wonder about Kenny, too- I have a theory that maybe part of leaving Sirius wasn't just a pay dispute, but possibly because he had outgrown the "Wake Up" dynamic. He became a husband and father and had all new interests and experiences, and maybe was over discussing reality T.V. and fluff stuff anymore. His contribution to the show in the earlier days was as a dating bachelor giving advice to women and sharing his single life experiences. When that life was over, what does he really have to talk about on a show like Taylor's? So, yeah, I think he has just moved on to another platform and is just more comfortable there.
