There was a comment about how much they loved Kelly Cutrone. They didn't know why Clay didn't like her. First of all, it annoyed me that either Taylor or any of them thought Clay was Taylor's friend and not just a coworker, and now they are all saying how he was their least favorite cohost. But they were saying that Clay was butt hurt that Kelly was critical of him. Kelly give criticism that may be constructive but is very harsh, and she's awesome. However, even nice criticism of Taylor is so offensive.  I can't even take them anymore.

They're also mad that he never reached out to Taylor after losing the show. So... he didn't reach out to a friend during a hard time? Sounds like someone else we know. But then again, losing your job must be much more difficult to deal with than, you know, a person's mom dying. (One poster did point that little nugget out, in all fairness. No one had anything to say back to that)

Im listening to todays show and I never liked Kelly as a guess so I was not sure how I felted about her cohosting but I really like her she is open honest and spilling it! Turned out to be a good show with her....
Now what did I miss about a Mom dying?

Taylor left to attend some big, fancy wedding in Utah after her close friend's mother had just died- and she didn't reach out to her at all when it happened, if memory serves. She claimed she had no choice but to be off the grid for a whole long weekend, but her friend wasn't buying it and got very upset with her over it. My own mother had just died not too long before that whole thing, so I totally got how the friend felt- it was a shitty move. 
 

I can't remember if her story was:
a. Didn't have a signal so that's why she couldn't reach out (but could still instagram*) *thanks for the reminder, Self-Aware. Meant to add that 
b. She had a roommate she didn't know very well and thought it would be awkward to call her friend with the other person in the room/ask the person to step out for a bit while she called
c. a combination of a and b

I remember her saying that she felt it wouldve been awkward to ask this stranger to step out of the room or to have such a personal conversation with her in the room. She felt it wasn't the right setting. Terrible.
 

 
To make matters worse, Taylor spent the next two years spinning it so every happiness guru and therapist on the show (read: ass kisser) would tell her it was Not. Her. Fault. I don’t know how many times she was let off the hook by people instead of “owning her shit” as she claims she’s so good at doing.
