I'm only like 20 minutes in, he is so funny!!! He really needs his own show, was always the best part of CWP
As far as the Golden Girls, that had to have been ground breaking TV! I only watched it in reruns, but for the 80s, it had to be super risqué, there is still stuff they say now that shocks me lol Original SATC for sure!

Nicole couldn't be her co-host because she said cum in the mouth? That's new!
Haha she hated Tia cause she wouldn't pull her weight lol
Taylor wanted a co-host, not a partner?!?!

I could believe that story about Nicole! Yesterday she actually gave us some new stories!

Was Sean on Taylor's show? I have been trying to find information about what he is doing these days and can't find anything.
Offline
He co-hosted with her yesterday. I only got about 1/2 way through, really fun show though!

Oh wow! Sean as a co-host would probably be the only reason I would subscribe, but I know that's not going to happen. Did he say what he is currently doing?

Taylor seemed almost manic during that show. I thought she was incredibly wound up and it was interesting that she HATED so many of her co-hosts. What’s common denominator there? She later claimed that ‘everyone loves her.’ Hmmmm...
There was a post on Facebook about her relationship with Steph. The person said Taylor acted like she liked her when she (Steph) was there so was she (Taylor) not being authentic then or is she lying now? (I wonder if that comment got the person kicked off the group?)

I don't subscribe so I didn't listen to what she said, but just based on what everyone was commenting I think Taylor hated everyone that she felt could potentially take her show from her or in some way, like her other cohosts, or maker her look less competent to others, like Steph. The reason there was never an issue with Kenny or Katie was that they never seemed to have any desire to do anything other than what she wanted them to do.
Also, one thing I always thought was that she hated Victoria because Victoria had the upper class upbringing and life that Taylor really wanted.

I do think you nailed it regarding her co-hosts.
That whole Victoria thing has me baffled. I just started listening when it was the three of them so I only recall the show being fun and funny, not crappy dynamics as Taylor always refers to (and certainly not bad enough that Babs would have to call Kenny and tell him to make Victoria be nice to her precious child of 25 years of age! Lol...) What is puzzling, if true, is that Taylor had a pretty privileged upbringing as well... yet still seemed to be JJ. 🙄

I don't actually remember too much of Victoria's stories about her life, but I always got the impression that she had a classic New England upper class life with country clubs and horse back riding lessons, like you would stereotypically see in movies. From what I remember of Taylor's stories, her family may have been well off but she didn't have any of that. I think that Taylor saw in Victoria the same thing she saw in her ex-inlaws, and at first she likes it but the later doesn't when she begins to feel less than.
I didn't think that Taylor and Victoria sounded like they disliked each other for a lot of the time they were on air together, but it definitely felt that Taylor didn't like her towards the end.

Wait - Is that true that Babs asked Kenny to ask Victoria to be nice to Taylor?

She sure did- she called into the show and ripped Kenny's ass a new one because she thought Victoria was bullying Taylor on the air too harshly. The call was not broadcast over the air or anything, Taylor just told the story years later.

Ironic that she complains about Brett's family being too involved.

But Steph had THE WORST on-air personality. I could handle her occasional popping in with comments, but when Taylor was off and Steph filled in with Kenny, I couldn't even listen. She was awful. I'm with Taylor on not liking her. I'm sure she's a fine person, but she does not belong on the radio.

It's funny, people seem to have either loved or hated Steph. I sometimes found her annoying but overall I really liked her. I was so upset when she left.

I really liked her as well! She seemed way more diverse, it was a nice switchup!

I'm with you on this- I hated when Steph co-hosted. She seemed to think she was way more funny than she actually was, and she would crack up at her own stupid jokes, and then Kenny would awkwardly try to laugh or figure out what the hell to say back to her, and it made me feel bethos.

I never really minded Steph on air but I didn't necessarily love the days she was on or her music segment. She was the producer, though, not an on air personality so I didn't expect she'd be great. But they never had to let her be on air, even if she volunteered for it. They could have done best ofs whenever Taylor was off or Kenny could have done it by himself. I felt like Taylor was out a lot at this point, so maybe her boss told her to have a fill in so at least Kenny was on air that day. It seems like they chose an easy way out but didn't like that it made Steph feel like she had a more on air roll than they wanted her to have. I also have always wondered if Kenny didn't really like her for his own reason or if it was only because Taylor started having problems with her. He always seemed like a bit of a follower in that regard.

I did too...and she at least brought structure to the show that was lost after she left. While she was there, the show had segments that were fun, funny (I get some people didn't like her Tooney Tunes Tuesday, but every once in a while I actually heard a few new songs I liked) and we had more frequent interviews from guests and celebrities, instead of the constant in and out of the doctors, dentists and happiness people that Taylor wanted free services from. Taylor did a great job of blubbering and crying when Steph left-- for someone who 'hated' her. If I "hate" someone, as Taylor said of Steph, I'd be able to say goodbye without a tear in my eye. Taylor always seemed like she was more of a 'Bye Felicia' type of person, too, but it didn't seem like it that day.

Her music choices were less than stellar. She seemed to be a good person. She was the producer, and should have stayed in her lane.

i kind of side with Taylor on this, if someone was constantly jockin for my job I would take issue with them.

I agree with you Pio - I liked what Victoria added in the third person and the group dynamic, but she sounds shady from Taylor’s account. I also think Taylor is a bit insecure so I’m sure there’s two sides 🤷🏻♀️ I was never a huge Steph fan, she didn’t add much value for me.

Steph seems like a nice enough person, but people who sing at inappropriate times annoy me. And I could see how not staying in her lane would get annoying. I think it’s interesting though that she took such a behind the scenes job after leaving sirius if she really was that attention/fame hungry.
Offline
I'm going to assume it was Taylor being totally unprepared for holidays/sick days, Kenny having no co-host and her having to sub in.

Steph took a behind the scenes job, because she has to. She has no on-air talent. That's what annoyed me about her. She could barely form a sentence but always tried to weasel her way in. If I were Taylor, I wouldnt have had as much patience as she did.

I was never a fan of Steph on the air, either. She seemed like a nice enough girl, and probably well-intentioned, but it always seemed like she was trying too hard to be like Taylor and it came off as annoying and cringey. However, she should get a lot of credit for holding that show together. After her departure was when I first noticed the quality of the show was beginning to take a nose dive.

I'll give her credit for coming up with ideas, good or bad and trying to be active on social media. That wasn't appreciated at all.

Did she really bring up that stupid f*cking name again on Friday??? Too bad she can’t spend that much brain power on learning how to use social media and think before speaking about people she needs to just STFU talking about (in-laws).

Her lack of social media fascinates me.
She has not updated The Taylor Strecker Show IG in a week.
She has not updated taylorstrecker.com since it launched.
She has no platform advertising her show, either mentioning highlites from it or promoting who will be on it.
