I don't know that she ever has...could there be a reason for that?

Well I’m curious. Anyone have a idea on this one?

Re: Secrets

On a recent show, Taylor mentioned that TD is half Irish and half Jewish. That could be what the E's  & D's have in common.

Re: Secrets

I think it’s a felony charge.  But it happened before she met TD so she may not even know about it.

Cornelius M. Donohue, III, license no. SC001995L of Villanova, Delaware County, had his license to practice podiatry suspended for two years, which was immediately stayed in favor of two years of administrative probation, effective March 1, 2009, for pleading guilty to a federal felony charge of obstruction of a Medicare audit. Well... that makes a little more sense than mine. I am curious if that's why she has never mentioned Dr. Donahue.

Re: Secrets

I don’t think it compares to what the E dad did because obstruction could be not answering phone calls or an error in Medicare billing.  https://www.healthlawupdate.com/2016/09/obstruction-of-a-medicare-audit-doesnt-require-direct-obstruction-of-a-federal-agent/

Yikes... wondered how long it was gonna be before someone found that 😳

Well this piqued my interest so I did a little more research. It looks like he actually created false medical records to submit to Medicare so he could bill them, looks like he made off with ~$100k. Yikes.

The court adjudicated him guilty and sentenced him to three years’ probation and to pay a fine of $10,000, among other things. CMS Ex. 9 at 37, 39. The information to which Dr. Donohue pled guilty charged that, in the course of an audit of his Medicare billings by a CMS contractor, he "created and back-dated approximately 35 false, fictitious and fraudulent patient treatment records and physicians’ orders to support the thousands of dollars of Medicare billings" he had submitted. CMS Ex. 9 at 26. Concurrently with his guilty plea, Dr. Donohue executed a civil settlement agreement with the U.S. Attorney to "settle claims asserted by the United States under the common law theories of fraudulent misrepresentation, payment by mistake, unjust enrichment, and fraud." CMS Ex. 9 at 41, 42-52. Under the terms of this agreement, Dr. Donohue was required to pay a total of $136,275.92.

Re: Secrets

How is Taylor Donahue related to Cornelius Donahue?  I know her dad's name is Neil so it isn't her dad.

3/19/2018 10:58 am  #43

Re: Secrets

Assuming Neil is short for CorNEILius.

3/19/2018 11:04 am  #44

Re: Secrets

FKF is correct- Neil is short for Cornelius. Also TD recently posted a photo of her dad with the caption "DPM". The info that's been posted here is for a DPM where they live in PA, I think we can be confident its him.

Taylor Ds father has traveled over seas and worked with Impoverished people. I read a go fund me for him when he was sick and the bio was pretty damn incredible he has spend a lot of his life helping poor people. I can’t imagine this man would rip off the government  intentionally.

Sometimes the prettiest people do the ugliest things.

Medicare fraud is no joke. If he was found guilty for fraudulently billing for services, you can be assured it happened. This is not a "whoopsie" crime.

Re: Secrets

It sounds like he plead guilty from the link.

3/19/2018 11:38 am  #48

Re: Secrets

Agreed- the actual court documents don’t lie 🤷🏻‍♀️ He pled guilty to creating false medical records for services he had already billed for, and forged other doctor’s orders. This was only discovered during a CMS audit. Not an innocent error in paperwork imo. Good on him that he has been charitable in other ways, but defrauding American taxpayers really irks my soul.

Probably cheaper to plead guilty then fight it.
Does not mean he meant to rip off the government .

Re: Secrets

This isn’t meant to be argumentative, but how does creating/falsifying medical records and forging signatures translate to “accidentally” ripping off the govt?

Re: Secrets

Might as well throw my two cents in...totally agree with your comment Victoria, except that I don’t think anyone here is judging TD at all. I think it’s more pointing out the irony of the situation that TS continues to take jabs at the E dad’s felony conviction (as recent as last week) while her current SO’s family is literally in the same situation. Its like they want to portray the illusion of perfection for TD’s family vs wanting the E’s to seem like villains. It’s super hypocritical, but that’s nothing new from Taylor I suppose... 🤷🏻‍♀️

Edit: On the other hand, I guess there is also a slight chance TS doesn’t know about this? Which would be even more random and ironic! 😬

Re: Secrets

other crazy coincidences:

Bretts's brother-in-law and TD's brother-in-law both work at Ralph Lauren.

Brett and TD both attended George Washington University.

I think it’s probbaly wanting to protect TD. I don’t think she would have discussed Brett’s dad if they were still married, just respect for your SO.

It’s all fine and dandy for you to spill Taylor Ds family shit on here behind your fake name tho?
I have not heard Taylor S say one thing on the radio show about Brett’s father going to jail. Did I miss something?
I’m not  arguing with you over what her father did I’m saying yer being a asshole for bringing it up and saying he is ripping off the government . But I’m sure you  accomplished hurting her feelings by posting that Incase she reads it 👏👏👏 good job I’m sure your family is perfect .

Re: Secrets

What does her father have to do with us. He is just a random guy to me. Of course, if he is rich, I could see one very big reason that TS would be interested. In with another doctor, possible money ties, no penis to deal with. Girlfriend to bring attention and boost career. Complete win for TS

Re: Secrets

Got a doozy of a story for all of you this morning along the "secrets" line.....to preface this you should know I have 4 much older siblings that have a different father, and then there is me, with a different dad and am technically their half sister. My brother gets a message today from someone on my sibling's side of the family (not my relatives) saying they have a half sister they didn't know about trying to contact them- found out she is related to them from Ancestry.com. My sister freaks out and looks her up on FB to find she has listed her birthday as March 23. That's my birthday- my siblings DO have a half sibling born on March 23rd...and it's me. I'm immediately suspicious, and think that they are getting catfished somehow, that this chick pretending to be me to my sibling's family for some reason. She claims that her father was my sibling's father and only just found out. I'm not buying a word of it because that's too coincidental- like, another half sibling would have my birthday? I don't think so. I tell my family not to trust this- she HAS to be posing as me somehow (even though the birth year and names don't match- I just figured she didn't get enough info to catfish properly). Turns out, it's true. She IS in fact a sibling born to their father that he never told anyone about, and it truly is coincidental that she shares my birthday. Two half siblings, same birthday. And I accused her of being a scam artist, lmao. Crazy, crazy, crazy. Oh, and she and her husband married on the same day as my brother and his wife- March 10th. Not the same year, but still another insane coincidence......

Wowzers! That's wild. And your half-siblings' father sounds like he was a busy guy back in the day! Has your brother told the rest of the family about this?
