I agree - I like hearing why everyone likes a differentt cohosts. For example, Lori is my least fave and I feel like Iβm missing the appeal. I donβt hate her or have any desire to cut her down, I just like the comediennes and the Robs and Sally Sean better!
The daily show recap doesnβt appeal to me, like FKF said I think those conversations are better when they happen organically. And Iβm sure Nati is very sweet, it just feels like sheβs Taylors mole - thatβs not a bad thing, I just wish it was Taylor herself who was doing the fan interaction. Emmaβs all up in there and itβs great! Taylor would probably find that if she was more interactive she would see as much hate or trolling, as she likes to say. Just my opinion.I totally agree- I love that Emma talks to us. I'd already really liked Emma but the fact that I've had actual online discussions with her made me love her even more. Makes me feel like she doesn't feel "above" her fans, and she really likes us the way we like her. Emma and Rob are my faves, but also love Sean. I also feel like I'm missing a bit of Lori's appeal but I don't dislike her, she just isn't one of my favorites- and I like hearing why people do love her because it made me come around to giving her more of a chance. I truly used to dislike the days she was on, but she has grown on me enough that I can still enjoy her conversation. I think I'm just still butt-hurt over how she treated the Morning Men- I really liked them and that segment and she killed it with her bullshit behavior during the segment. So that's what landed her on my Most Hated.....I decided I needed to just get over it, lmao!!
ΒΒ
I also agree with you on the Emma interaction level. Sheβs awesome! Iβm lobbying our local Comedy Works to get her here in Colorado...she and Tovah told me what I needed to do. I think Taylor would find a whole different level of how ALL listeners treated her if she actually spent time like Emma does engaging with them. She really thinks doing something like writing, βThanks guurrrrlll!!β is considered βresponding to all IG commentsβ and considers that working hard. I wonder what she would do with a job that required a 10-12 hour day?? π³
Β
OMG, if you get Emma to CO let me know- I'm in KS and would totally drive west to see Emma!!

I think Emma was booted from the group, or got harassed so much that she booted herself.Β
I guess she overslept and missed the first hour of the show. In the initial moments of it going on, people said how disappointed they were, etc. She made some posts, where people were pretty supportive / positive and now I noticed that she is gone and posts where is tagged are greyed out. That's really unfortunate that she's out.Β
EDIT: I guess I am wrong, when I log in on the computer, she's still showing as a member. But on my phone, anyone who has tagged her in a comment, the link is greyed out with the slash next to it, indicated she's not a member. So idk what is going on. I hope she's still in the group though.Β

I think Emma has two accounts. If you hover over the greyed out one and the one she makes posts with, they have different pictures.

I just checked the FB group and it looks like Emma is still a member!Β People need to chill.... Everyone sleeps in occasionally, especially when you change time zones.Β

I noticed that too. I can't imagine that she would leave-she seems all about interacting with the listeners.

Were people that upset by it? I saw Emma posting about it but didn't bother to read the comments. People seem to love Emma on that page, so I figured they would let it slide.

Yes some people are pissed. Both Facebook groups now are absurd. Honestly this makes me disappointed in the female species. Groups like this are so full of drama and attacking and itβs insane. Iβm in another group that has 4K members that is a bit better, but same thing in that you see the same people over and over antagonizing others. Iβm in groups with primarily males as well, no drama to be found like that. Why canβt we be nice to each other π

You can check members of groups by clicking "info" and then "members". It lets you type in their name rather than searching through.

It's hysterical!!! So much fun to spin them up!

I really like Emma on the show but there was way to big of age difference with that last girl she wanted to be exclusive with. I donβt care how mature Taylor claimed that girl was the age difference would catch up sooner or later.

Since it looks like neither the radio show nor reality tv stardom is going to turn Tay back into a rich person, she might want to look into starting her own cult. She's already got a pretty sizable following from the BBs aloneΒ

Did anyone else see the thread complaining about the people who emailed to complain about her language and choice of topics?Β I have to admit that I was a little disappointed in the lack of drama. I personally think it is ridiculous to expect censorship of an adult radio show for your child but the fact that it happened isn't too surprising.Β

I saw some of that discussion.Β The show is not for children!Β If you don't want your kids to hear certain things then listen later on demand.

The show has never been for kids, even when it was on Sirius. Maybe her language is a little stronger now, but it's not that much.
Offline
I'm stunned by the number of people who let their little children listen.
I guess they don't mind their 3 year olds hearing cursing every sentence.
Offline
Completely agree with you guys and have always wondered the same thing! Once my kids are old enough to repeat the word "fuck", it's time to stop listening to her show around them. There's absolutely nothing kid-friendly about the show.

Sigh. Facebook really should have a "Fuck You" button.

Totally agree!Β They are driving me bonkers today with their blind support of Taylor and her increasingly bad behavior.Β The excuses they come up with toΒ justify her actions, its almost as bad as Trump supporters excusing his sexual assaults by claiming that women love powerful men or they liked the attention, etc.Β There's literally nothing Taylor could do that would make her diehards question her; everything she does will be explained away by her having a hard day, being entitled to express her opinions, exaggerating, embellishing for fun, and all the other crap.Β UGH.

Did anyone see this post buried in the middle of the comments in the battle of the I HATE TAYLOR/FUCK YOU UNSUBSCRIBE THEN section?
βHaha. Man. I wish some of you guys could have been in a car with her when at like 2 am when McDonalds was out of fries. She was hammered but, man, the screaming was a lot. This is a true story, with witnesses. So definitely not surprised by this story she told and was not surprised by the periscope.β
It was from a listener who used to hang out with her after shows. She was with her (TS), Kenny, another of their friends and a guy who did not listen to the show that night. He was pretty mortified at her behavior. π€¦π»ββοΈπ
Offline
That was hug/kiss from back in the day. She said she doesn't listen anymore.Β I think she was more friends with Kenny. She was trying to be diplomatic about why by just saying it's not her kind of radio anymore.Β
Offline
Yeah, the FB people- unreal. I swear I could post that I saw Taylor kick a puppy and they would be like, well, it's just for the show, she doesn't REALLY hurt puppies very often....
Offline
Their new theory of enabling is she "embellishes" her stories to make them more interesting. These people are unbelievable.Β
Offline
I also can't believe how many people admit that they act like assholes to wait staff or think it's normal to screw at someone because you didn't get perfect service.

I just had to stop trying to speak some sense into those people...this is why they defend TS b/c they are just like her!!

Well, Natalya... That's because you were dead wrong in that convo *shrug*.Β The girl who called out whats-her-face on watching her coworkers spit in peoples' food was completely in the right, in my opinion.Β That's nasty.
