I could imagine her not being paid, just the free trip being enough for her!

So with Taylors new found hate of travel, it'll be interesting if she does one of the cruises that D&R do. A cruise cabin is a pretty cramped space and her reasoning for upgrading on the place is that she gets so claustrophobic she has panic attacks.

agreed!! what a hustler!! Taylor would be complaining for WEEKS for having to work until 12:45 and having to get up "SOOO EARLY to do a TWO HOUR radio show"

So on yesterday’s show, Taylor managed to tell her latest version of what happened with her ‘non-phone call’ to her friend when she was at that fabulous wedding in the desert (and her friend’s mom died). She is still not taking one damn bit of responsibility in any of it and now (because she has so many new listeners, I’m sure!) it’s all the ‘friends’ fault. She was able to twist it around to sound like the friend was going through a hard time (she didn’t say what it was) and that she (the friend) was upset that Taylor was posting pics on IG from the wedding. Taylor said she was just trying to ‘show love to the bride and groom because they wanted people to post from there’ and that the friend was mad that she was having fun while she was going through this hard time.

It was such a good example of how T will now twist whatever story into the lie she wants because she has this ‘closed set’ of listeners, especially the BBs, who cling to every word like she is all that and a bag of chips. I want so badly to expose her sometimes on the FB page... but they would still believe she is this queen that was wronged!

It was a gross defense, yet again, for sure. There is no excuse for not having called that friend- none at all. The week my mom died, a group of my closest friends were leaving for a trip to Mexico- she wound up dying the day before they were supposed to leave. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM called me or came over to see me before they left; they all felt terrible leaving for vacation when I was going through the death of my mom. Of course I told them, go, have fun, don't worry about me. But I can only imagine if they had not reached out, just took off because the trip was more important, and I had to see their fun vacay photos knowing I had not even been worth a phone call. That would have crushed me. But since my friends are REAL friends they all checked in with me before leaving. That meant a lot, and it's what I would have done, too. 
 

 
When you go through something horrifically tragic You really will remember who was and wasn’t there for you.  It’s easy to be present when everything is going great for your friends or family. But going through something traumatic shows you who you can count on. I lost my sister and I remember each person who was there for me. And I also remember the few who were not.

I think Taylor is altering history because she can’t face that she is a terrible friend. Or at the least a “selfish friend to the people whom she can’t social climb or gain something from.

Yes!  I really like Nicole.  I agree it's hard to imagine them having much in common anymore. 

I was surprised to hear that Taylor did not speak to Nicole about being let go from SiriusXM until a few days after it happened. I get the whole not being able to talk about what happened with co-workers but if they really go that way back I would expect Taylor to call Nicole rather than Nicole getting confirmation of Taylor being let go by looking for her at work on Monday. Just seemed odd to me.

Getting fired is incredibly embarrassing. I kind of understand not broadcasting to friend, even if you work together.

I agree, and I think Taylor was scared shitless about what would happen if she spoke to anyone about it, even if in private and to a trusted friend. 

Same! I would be at home with me head under a pillow not talking to anyone!
