Yes Hawrible! Or...why does the page need to be moderated (censored) at all? Why can’t Nati just let it ride like we do here. She’s making it more difficult than it needs to be.

I rarely respond to the BBs, but I feel the need to respond to the below comment.

#1 We aren’t “hiding behind our keyboards”. Most of us have/would post in the FB groups, but when we do, we get accused of all sorts of things, our comments are deleted and/or we are kicked out of the group. Also, forumcreator chose this platform, which is anonymous. Idk why she did, but it’s not like we all got together and said “let’s make a place where we can talk shit anonymously.” A few times I’ve considered suggesting we migrate to a FB group, but for some reason I like it this way. And we aren’t afraid of anyone knowing who we really are- for a long time a number of us had our real pictures up just for that reason.

#2 We don’t think being called weasels is harsh. That was a sarcastic comment. And we had weasel first so... And “we don’t like being called out”? I don’t think we get THAT worked up about it, but even when we don’t like something we don’t delete it, unlike the uber-sensitive FB pages.

#3 When have we been “incorrect”? About the divorce? About T&T being together? About the trip/firing?

The basic argument was people who thought "hood rat" was a racist term (it is!) vs. those that didn't think it was and were defending Tay's right to use it. Which was pointless anyway because Tay said she agreed it was a bad thing to say, she apologized for using it, and said she never would again. And there was some debate over whether a listener should have turned Tay into the TFQ for using terms the demean and insult women, as "hood rat" is most often used to impugn women of color.

Oh wow, that’s awful for Emma She’s so sweet, I can’t imagine anyone holding that against her! It seems pretty apparent Carly has though, and Emma and her seem really close, so she may.

I’m blown away the Toaster Strudels are so adamnet it’s an ok word to use. Even Taylor said she would use it again, how friggen daft can they be?? I hate to think they’re all a bunch of racists, but why else would you want so badly to use it?

I cancelled my Patreon.  It was me.  I love Emma and I subscribed to a monthly pledge as soon as she started The Inside The Closet Patreon.  I emailed her nicely and explained why I cancelled.  Inside the Closet is hilarious but it is also a safe and helpful resource for LGBTQ young people to have questions answered and to find a voice/ safe place.  All in one show TS pleaded ignorance of her racist comment.  TS made no mention of the fact that aside from being racist it is a deragatory and demeaning term to call someone. In the same moment that she said she wouldn’t say it again she also said (to CCC) “ but you can’t take away Ho or slut”.  I’m paraphrasing so don’t jump my ass.  I see this as a problem.  Would Emma be okay with TS calling someone a carpet munching dyke?  Sorry to be graphic and crude. Just trying to make a point.   I’m not on an anti-Emma crusade. I think she is an amazing talent.  But I also take my financial support seriously.  I cancelled because I’m not okay with Taylor throwing around the terms Ho and Slut just cause she is jealous of people. So I cancelled my TS subscription.  When Emma steps away from TS I’ll reaubscribe.  But you can’t have it both ways.  I won’t support GWNJ.  Other people can do it but I choose not to go there.   People can disagree but it’s my personal choice.  I did email Emma and explain.  I didn’t ask her to step away from TS I just explain d why I personally was leaving Patreon since I was one of the first 40ish subscribers.

I totally get why you’d do that. I don’t listen to anything Taylor any more and she truly is just over the top in all the worst ways. It’s a shame as I enjoyed her so much years ago, but this is who she is now. You took a stand in what and who you support in a level headed manner.

Same here! I love coming on here to read what you guys think but I won’t support her or be a part of the ignorance. Even if I could listen for free.
