She (LB) is one degree of separation from TS... if it gets out to them that she is co-hosting a show where the female empowerment waffles between “I support women; I’m a lesbian lesbian” to “Cardi B is a hood rat” to “that woman over there is a slore” can’t possibly be good for HER brand. Would she want Gemma to hear that in 10-15 years?

On today's show we also learned the real reason listeners aren't invited into the studio anymore... Babette says so! She is worried Taylor has too many haters and it isn't safe.

Hahaha! Doesn't she always have at least 2 other people with her (cohost and producer)? And if the neighbors can hear them talk I imagine they'd hear if there was real trouble. The live shows will probably continue because she can charge money!

Keep in my that her most loyal (and bat shit crazy) fans would be the ones that she would invite to the studio. E.G. CCC. Those fans are actually the ones who would go off the deep end and take everyone in the studio out. Think Selena and her manager......... Babbs may have a point, but she is implicating the wrong people.

I think Taylor did well with her apology. The amount of women on FB, defending the word is unreal though!

I agree. I'm glad she addressed it and said she'd try to do better... time will tell. I also appreciate Emma being honest in the discussion too.

I have to agree with you... she handled it really well. I just wish she would have quit while she was ahead and ended the discussion before she got her text from TD. That started down a whole new path...I believe she had shows in the past where she took the opposite side against people who did/said stuff and she wanted them to lose their jobs.

Why does Taylor do food segments on her show? it's good for her because she can taste it and see if she likes it...... its dumb for the listeners i think years ago she made fun of that segment with Kenny...Why is she still doing it? She's not at Sirius anymore she can do whatever she wants now....

For anyone that still listens, what do you think of Matt Ryan? I cancelled and came back thinking things were better and then I see that he is on the show as a regular. He is unfunny as hell IMO and seems horrible for her brand. Am I alone in this?

Maybe I'm remembering it wrong but I swear I remembered hearing that when "hood rat" rose to the level that my "flyover state", country bumpkin self started hearing it in the mainstream.

I actually LOVE Matt Ryan- didn't think I would, but I do. He is irreverant as all get out, but he makes me laugh so hard that I forgive him for his bit of douch-ery. I laugh harder on his days than with anyone. He can turn any topic into comedy and keeps Tay on her toes.

I think he’s pretty funny for a every other Friday host. Think if he was on much more than that his personality might wear thin. I thought it was so interesting he sees a couples therapist, a psychiatrist, and a therapist for himself. Wow...that’s a lot!

😂😂😂😂😂😂 Is it basically the same thing, or is my 90s in retrograde? It was definitely derogatory in the movie.

I believe a street rat means a homeless kid in the context of Aladdin. Now, I think it can mean something more similar to hood rat, but I think it is less gender specific than hood rat seems to be. I recall hearing hood rat a lot in 90s rap and movies like Friday.

So if you haven't heard, on today's show Taylor once again re-casts the participants in a celebrity "feud" as herself and an enemy (in this case, Meghan Markle vs. Kate Middleton = Taylor vs. Brett's sister), and declares the scheming and jealous bully ("basic" Kate) and the radiant, virtuous victim (Meghan).
