The show today was really good! Rob was prepared, they kept things moving, and actually listened to callers instead of talking over them! I'm not a huge JB fan normally, but I enjoyed him today!

Wow I am really surprised. I didn't listen live this morning because I wasn't prepared to try to get ready and drive to work listening to someone complain about being sick again. Just started playing at work and was shocked to hear just Rob. Excited to listen now after hearing it's good!

Taylor was out again today and had Daryn and Hannah co-host. Again, one of the best shows in a long time! While they're not usually my favorite, this is all just confirmation that I keep listening to the show more for the cohosts than Taylor. Two whole days with no bitter in-law stories!

Haha, I'm warming up to him. I don't mind him in normal conversations as much as when Taylor wants him to "autoritize".

JB is better without Taylor. Not sure why.

Two good shows back to back! Lately Taylor has been so amped up...loud, abrasive, interrupting. It's been a refreshing two days.

I didn't not enjoy him today trying to talk over everyone, I'm not sure why he was there as Katie was producer? I did enjoy these shows a lot though!! Part way through todays I thought "this is so nice not listening to all the banshee screaming!" I also liked Hanna better without Taylor dumbing her down. I think its her segments I dislike more then her, I really liked what she had to say today,

I swear every person or guest on Taylor’s show has their own podcast. How much time does everyone really have to listen to all the podcasts out there? It’s starting to feel like that market is saturated.

JFC...am I just an asshole or is Taylor the lamest 35 yo on the planet? How she is in the biz and barely knows anything about the genre is astounding. Companies aren’t aware of podcasting?? GTFO. Guaranteed with the exception of Serial, I bet she couldn’t name 5 podcasts that EVERYONE knows and loves (Stassi and Jtrain or whoever the fuck definitely don’t count). I mean, she thinks she created the live podcast format by opening up for Kenny at his comedy shows (yes. She said that). She’s been in the biz for long enough she could have done so much more, it’s kind of sad and pathetic honestly..

Even Sirius is on board with podcasts. Maria Menunos and Covino & Rich promote them... I kind of wonder if they were really holding her back or if she was just lazy. It seems super odd that everyone else is allowed to promote other audio gigs.

She was never told she couldn't do things on the side. She DID things, like open for Kenny, Goddess Girl.
Every other person on Sirius does other things. There are probably some restrictions, like not working in radio. How could she be told to not have a podcast when other hosts are openly promoting them on air?

I halfway listened to today's show but it was so boring, and like you said just a bunch of ass-kissing. I thought it was interesting that TD somehow said that TS has developed these authentic relationships with people from Bravo. (can't remember the exact quote) I always thought of TS as a social climber so it makes me wonder what she has to gain from this new relationship with Chanel. I don't doubt she and Stassi are real friends, and I think she genuinely likes Daryn, but I also think Taylor wants the connections these people offer her to the top. Sorry if this sounds like a rambling mess.... It was just so interesting to hear TD talk about her yesterday because it's like she's describing a completely different person than I listen to every day.

i think Chanel is friends with Lindsay Lohan...and that's who Taylor wants to meet and party with.

I feel like TD suffers from Stockholm Syndrome. Taylor literally sounded like she was bullying her on yesterday's show to get the answers she wanted. On a side note, TD makes for terrible radio, imo. She's just so low energy, and mumbles. I am not a fan of her on the show.

For real, I’ve been around individuals with cancer who complain less than Taylor has about her symptoms. My entire family works in fields that require us to be on deaths door to call off (as I’m sure is the way for nearly every adult in the world) and yes, everyone gets sick and I wish Taylor well but she seriously needs to dial it back.

I guess my take on an “authentic relationship” would be if TS would follow through on brunch plans for Sunday afternoon, dinner with a non-famous person mid-week or drop everything if one of them needed help? The answer is probably yes for Stassi but I’d bet a million that there’s no one else (maybe Nicole, but that’s probably pushing it knowing her track record with “friends”) that she has authentic relationships with. Or wants to “for real.”
