It really amazes me that this organization has picked Taylor to be their spokesperson. This clip had the ability to be really educational, instead it came off as a stupid game where they were more worried about winning then the actual issues at hand.

I didn't think it was that bad. They were on par with other channels, like FBE, that do those challenge type videos. I learned some things and they seemed like they were having fun.
That being said, it's hard to take the organization seriously when they don't care how their spokesperson acts in general. While I thought this video was fine, she does a lot of other things that work against their message.
I've never been sure why they picked her because I don't think her following is that big compared to any number of other people they could have chosen. She also doesn't engage on social media, which has been a big issue and large part of why she hasn't grown. TBH, it seems the only reason she's their spokesperson is because TD works there and if that's how they picked, it's just another reason to take them less seriously

Her being TF's gf is 10000% the only reason she got the job. And it also makes me think less of the organization. As much as I appreciate the overarching goal of TFQ, from everything I've heard (which comes only from TS), it's... kind of "meh." I've never even heard or seen it referenced ANYWHERE else outside of TTSS, here, and the FB pages 🤷♀️

I also take issue with TFQ’s lack of diversity. I do not see any women of color in their organization. Which IMO is a problem for a organization that is advocating for female equity..... maybe they don’t know that Black women were not allowed to vote decades after white women were granted the right to vote.
Or that White women make .79 cents to a white mans dollar....black women make .63 cents to a white mans dollar and Latina women make about .57 cents to a white mans dollar.
Or that Women of color are more likely to die during childbirth because medical professionals tend to practice bias (conscious or unconscious) against their patients.
I’m gonna go on a rant so I’ll stop. But TFQ IMO offers nothing more than surface, convenient feminism to shill expensive shirts and get some ad dollars....I could be wrong and hope I am.

You're not on a rant- you are just pointing out hard, shitty truth; even organizations like TFQ are still ignoring women of color despite plenty of evidence that they are the most oppressed demographic. You have every right to be angry because it's bullshit that they are aren't representing ALL women.

Very true! I guess I just want a little more seriousness talking about such a big issue? You make a good point though, with it being fun it probably is more likely to go viral which is would be awesome to get the message out!

So they get Taylor to be a rep for their brand.....which baffles me because she is the antithesis of all that is opposite. Have you ever noticed the attention grabbing behavior that tends to make her change her persona? Even from the beginning she has shown that she will go to opposite poles in order to be the “it” girl. My opinion is formed from the stories that she has beat us with over the years.
1. Perfect little girl who acts, dances, and sings. (Does not work out)
2. Rebellious teenager who dates bad boys. Sneaks off to see boyfriend, runs up credit cards
3. Turns into hippie girl, who makes out with everyone but never goes all the way, birkenstocks wool socks, Dave Matthews.
4.Turns into young business professional while working in LA. Surprised at attention from older men.
5. Party girl, dating vodka salesman, wants to be a nightclub promoter, string of loser boyfriends
6. Gets job at cosmo/Sirius. Then becomes poor, misunderstood girl in the big city. Uncomfortable about sex, yet works for a company who uses sex as a selling point.
7. Cat fights with Victoria. Forcing her out.....enter Kenny. The asskissing begins
8. Enter Brett. The horrid engagement, and the wedding from hell. (But she is now rich bitches)
8. Self proclaimed “Jewish American princess” period (absolutely offensive to the core)
9. The sisters, the shoes, the watch, the holidays apart, marathon running, hemmorhoids, and finally the divorce.
10.. poor Taylor phase. Pity party central. No coming to work. Kenny has enough, gets the hell out.
11. Enter TD. Now a lesbian.
12.. behavior spirals out of control, everyone else leaves. Sad string of rotating co-hosts. Clay Aiken pretty doesn’t bother to hide his disdain, Carly pulls the cord
13. Ed
14. The firing
15. Poor Taylor again
16. New show, starts pretty good, we are all pulling for her
17. Back to rotating cohosts. Quality wains as time turns, back to vacation and sick days
18.. now super lesbian feminist who seemingly hates women.......
This does not include the “thirst” or the overbearing coaching from Babbs. And demonstrates the lengths that she will go to to be the center of attention.
In a way, I actually pity her. How can you properly represent women when you can not even represent your true self.

This sums it up perfectly for me. I really feel bad for her, she's pushing 40 and has zero idea who she is, she still keeps trying to reinvent herself. Its like a weird mid life crisis or something. Maybe she really is a millennial and is trying to find herself still?

Great summary Karma...makes me wonder what’s next? My prediction is blowup of the current show (as she is already hinting) since it seems like it’s holding her back from seeking her fame. Or so she thinks it is. However, I think it’s the only way for her to “reel in” the connections right now, though, (“I’m Taylor Strecker and I’m the host of a groundbreaking LIVE podcast! Will you please be my guest co-host so I can then be your new BFF and ride on your coattails into whatever super important TV show YOU do or celebrity YOU know?) 🙄🙄🙄

If Taylor hasn't gotten on any of these shows by now, I don't see it happening. Stassi is her most high profile Bravo friend and it still hasn't gotten her anywhere. She's just not that likable anymore and she'd be a boring addition to any show.

FKCST that exactly the vibe I get!!! And amazing summary, Karma, but you’ve left out the part where Taylor is SO much more down to earth than Victoria because she’s not rich and therefore relatable! Except she was getting her gratis Botox and oh yeah... grew up rich. And her parents were taking care of her still... but she shopped at Zara!! It actually kind of makes me sad to think I fell for the schtick.
Hahaha it all starts to run together after a while. Apparently all of you got the premis of what I was trying to say. She will turn on a dime to get ahead. She has no conviction, nor conscious. I would not be surprised if TD was put to the side once her usefulness has wained.

Here we go again. Just heard yesterday's show. She was making up every excuse for the preacher that very inappropriately grabbed Ariana Grande. She is the anti-feminist

That made me so angry. Why is her first instinct to always defend the man? I mean people are unanimously disgusted by his behaviour. How she can possibly try to justify it because he's a religious man and AG was "dressed inappropriately", is beyond me. I'll never forget her staunch refusal to believe the Cosby accusations until there were upwards of 50 women, or the denial of Robin Roberts(?) claims.

That guy knew what he was doing. Many men in power believe that such behavior is granted to them because they are such pillars of the community. And, that she should be grateful for him giving her the attention that she must have wanted. 🤮
And Taylor’s mocking of her is not only un-called for, but it is rude and childish. She is demonstrating the behavior that she claims to rally against. She may not have as great of a radio voice as you TS. But her singing career must have taken priority over all the drinking, partying, and smoking. Take a look at the scoreboard honey, she is wiping the floor with you. And your jealousy makes you look like a childish twat.
The Taylor Strecker Show: a place to go when belittling your acquaintances on a public broadcast will only do. Because we all know that you can not get ahead when you do it with the privacy of your own friends.

Taylor hates other women, she always has. She can try to be more "woke" about it, but the judgement creeps in because that's her mental base. I don't know if it's her history with mean girls, jealousy, insecurity or just what, but her first instinct is always to bash women. Kind of like when she went off on Kim K. yesterday for her work with the Innocence Project. She says she has no business in politics and "should just stick to shopping." How rude. Maybe Kim doesn't want to be just some bimbo with a sex tape anymore. Maybe she is trying to do something more fulfilling with her life. The Innocence Project is very important, and she is working with Jason Pflaam so she doesn't have to be an expert on this, she is working with one. She is trying to use her influence for positive change. Why does that deserve bashing? Wrongful conviction affects the black community more than anyone else- her kids are half black, so I would think this would be something very important for her to work on. But Taylor totally attacked her for it, saying she has no business doing any of this. And that is bullshit. If it had been a male reality star the story would not have even made her Fix in Six....

Hawr-rible I actually wanted to call in when she was bashing Kim K yesterday. I think it's awesome that Kim is using her fame and platform for something so important! She isn't running for office so saying she should stay out of the White House as if she was a Trump was really pissing me off. I also hated that Taylor kept saying Kim wasn't smart enough to be involved in these issues. Sure, she didn't go to Harvard but that doesn't mean she doesn't know what she's talking about. The only person I know for a fact shouldn't discuss anything political is Taylor because she was too damn lazy to even vote.

I haven't listened this week at all, but agree about Kim K. I hate when people say celebrities should stick to their jobs and not speak out about issues, they're people and have as much right as anyone to have an opinion. Hopefully Kim makes enough an impact that that's what her kids see when they Google her and not the sex tape stuff. Unfortunately Taylor is leaving a very good social foot print for her possible kid to find!
