I still check in here to get a giggle. Iβm glad to get some gossip from time to time. How, oh how, is the Facebook group still like this? How is she still relevant and able to make a living off this podcast? How is she still so immature? How is it she seems like a worse person than 10 years ago?
I have so many of the same questions from long ago and yet it still fascinates and boggles my mind.

Wtf is that one for?! There are three groups and none have the happy medium where you can love but disagree. And none have any actual interaction with Taylor. How can her brand survive? Because I think the BB armor might have some cracks in it after this week...

And yet the Pink Pages are the problem and we're all trolls...

Like besides Cindy showing flipping the shit out on everyone, weβre polite, we disagree, but we speak like adults. Itβs all the Pollyannas that have to start crap that make that place insane. I liked the the other stuff though, lots of good topics non Taylor. Too bad Nati had to jump up on her high horse. I still canβt beleive she deleted the thread with Kennyβs comments, thatβs low even for her!

Umm wasn't the whole reason she picked this time slot was because she wanted to go be on the Morning Toast every now and the and have the last half hour be a prerecord to get there on time

looks like there are a bunch of tickets available for the Nashville show tonight....b/c Taylor actually posted on IG about tickets available today and to "swipe up" and we all know she doesn't really promote anything unless she is desperate

This stuff is pure gold....if I was not so busy right now I would be meme-ing the shit out of this.

You can pretty much say βwhat 36 year old...β and finish that with anything she does in her life. Sheβs mentally regressing, I swear.

I think she needed backup in case she needed to bring someone on stage and her family is free

I actually would love to take my mom on a business trip to a fun city. A little work and a little play and fun times with my mom.... don't blame her there. I work with my dad and we go on business trips together (two this month) and it's great time together!Β

Same! My aunt went to a lot of medical conferences and always took my gramma after gramps passed away. She loved it!

Woof is right. I just tried to listen to it and it is ROUGH. She just repeated all of her top hit stories for two hours. "I used to be married to a man but NOW IM A LESBIAN" "I used to work at Sirius but then they FIRED ME
Β was the majority of it. She asked the audience raise their hand at the beginning if they listen to the show...the entire audience did except for two people. Yet she then proceeded to spend the whole show introducing herself and telling her life story. Its all your listeners....they already know all this shit. It was god awful.Β

These Facebook groups are insane. I keep on them just for entertainment but Iβm almost at my max. How are grown women this awful? Iβd expect it in high school but now now. Is everyone lacking drama in their own life? My life is far from exciting and thatβs just how I like it. Iβm happy, I do exciting things, but I donβt need to pit people against each other on a daily basis.

The show was a little rough although I did laugh when she told the story of her trying on the strap on! I think if she keeps doing these shows she will get better at it.

Has she really said she wants to be a stand up comedian? If so, Iβm guessing Carly and Emma (and even Kenny) are simultaneously rolling their eyes and laughing their asses off at her. She must think itβs something so easy that you just wake up one day and decide to do?

Well she said she watched a bunch a stand up specials to prepare, but you really need to go to some open mics and practice in front of other comedians first, before you decide to do an actual paid show. If she wants to do comedy and have it work out she needs to come up with an actual set and practice and tweak it and get it solid first.

I didnβt care for her live show. IMO she sounded unprepared and like it was something she pieced together that morning. Her gift is having a fun engaging conversation with a co-host and the audience gets to be that 3rd friend listening in.
I do hope she listens to it and works on making improvements to it. She told Daryn she didnβt have a tight 10. She needs one. She should work on some material, and go to an open mic night but I think sheβs afraid of the harsh criticism that comes from strangers on that kind of circuit.

I have to agree- nothing makes me cringe harder than Name That Tay Tay Tune. It IS sort of funny (sort of!), but mostly it's just awkward and uncomfortable.Β

Ugh, preach- I hate Toof Talk! I've played the board game with friends and it's very funny when you can actually see people trying to talk with the thing in their mouth in person- it does not translate with just audio, though.Β

Circling back to the MLM convo we had the other day, I just stumbled on this article. It does a better job of articulating my thoughts/feelings on the subject than I did.

So I finished the dream...and I can definitely understand that side of the MLM world more clearly. I think her reporting was completely biased, but it did give me a better insight as to why people feel like the industry takes advantage of their worker bees so to speak.
I donβt agree with all of it and that has not been my experience at all, but itβs interesting to see the perspective. I just truly wish she had done more two sided research...talking to people like myself who make some extra money, donβt intend for it to be a full time career, etc Will I tire of it and quit at some point? Sure. Itβs a sales job and Iβm not meant to be in sales. But Iβm definitely not in debt from it and I donβt hassle my friends. I think she picked terrible stories to share and limped them in to say thatβs the industry as a whole π€·ββοΈ

In the podcaster's defense, they tried to talk to sales people, but the companies told them not to speak to them or to cooperate with the podcast.
