So I finished the dream...and I can definitely understand that side of the MLM world more clearly. I think her reporting was completely biased, but it did give me a better insight as to why people feel like the industry takes advantage of their worker bees so to speak.
I donβt agree with all of it and that has not been my experience at all, but itβs interesting to see the perspective. I just truly wish she had done more two sided research...talking to people like myself who make some extra money, donβt intend for it to be a full time career, etc Will I tire of it and quit at some point? Sure. Itβs a sales job and Iβm not meant to be in sales. But Iβm definitely not in debt from it and I donβt hassle my friends. I think she picked terrible stories to share and limped them in to say thatβs the industry as a whole π€·ββοΈ

In the podcaster's defense, they tried to talk to sales people, but the companies told them not to speak to them or to cooperate with the podcast.
Why would they want to talk to her? She was shitting all over them without giving it a second thought.Β

I sell (sell being a loose term) Beauty Counter. Mainly I use it myself and have a group of friends who love it as well and that keeps me in business.
On another note (I should probably put this under the what are you listening to topic), I listened to the first episode of Drop Out....the Theranos scandal....Amazing! And I listened to the first 3 episodes of the Hart one (blanking on the name)...itβs captivating and amazing but as a mom itβs also really triggering for me. I will continue to listen but it hurts me to do so.

I guess (in my opinion) if they are legit, why not tell your truth? Dispute her βfactsβ with the βfactsβ about your company that will disprove her story or theories. When no one will do that, whether itβs with her or in publicly available sales information, etc., it certainly leads people to believe there is something they are hiding.

Yes but if anyone heard how she spoke about MLMs and to the people involved in them, it was very clear that she wasn't going to listen to anyone objectively or fairly.Β

Complete topic change - I typed Taylorβs name in the FB search bar today and another group popped up - has anyone seen that? I just requested to join it.

What's it called? I'm part of 2 different fb groups. You can't say anything negative in TSN without getting regulated, so I enjoy the other group more, where we can actually offer a negative opinion about the show or Taylor. I don't think it's secret-anyone can join. Taylor Strecker Fans With a Twist.

I would like a nice middle ground, like here. Nation & Toasters are Nazi level nice, Twat is a little psycho mean.

Like besides Cindy showing flipping the shit out on everyone, weβre polite, we disagree, but we speak like adults. Itβs all the Pollyannas that have to start crap that make that place insane. I liked the the other stuff though, lots of good topics non Taylor. Too bad Nati had to jump up on her high horse. I still canβt beleive she deleted the thread with Kennyβs comments, thatβs low even for her!

What happened with Cindy?

The show was a little rough although I did laugh when she told the story of her trying on the strap on! I think if she keeps doing these shows she will get better at it.

Yeah but during her weekly show she talks about being a-sexual and how she doesnβt have to have sex and then at the Nashville Show all she talked about was her sex life with TD - very bethos feeling and then at one point Babette got up there and told the story about her dream and she was gay and had to tell everyone and after the dream she felt so bad for TS

Omg that Nashville Show was soooooo bethos. She was making shit up trying to be funny and it fell REAL flat. That bitch has never tried on a strap on in her life. Itβs shocking to me that people think sheβs telling the truth ππ

If there was six figures attached to that strap on she would be slinginβ That thing around like a prisoner on conjugal visit day!!!!
I tried the Nashville show......I bailed after about 30 minutes. To much screaming, abusing her lesbian moniker, and penis hate.

Oh no lol, I just tried to listen to the podcast. I would immediately be lynched if I attended a live event.

Speaking of the Nashville show- she had that whole bit about using a strap-on dildo in her relationship with TD, but today on the show she told Matt they don't own dildos. I can't help but wonder: which is it?Β
