Wow... this was unexpected. I didn’t hear the show; I was reacting to the post describing the episode. My assumptions were based solely on that. Perhaps if I heard your show I would have a different reaction.
The celebrity comment was honestly not a dig at Kenny, but rather SiriusXM: they have made it clear in the past few years that they’d rather give shows to random famous people (Jenny McCarthy, Andy Cohen) than invest in the talented hosts (with 10+ years of experience) that helped build the company. And that’s why I no longer subscribe.

I’m confused by the angry post from Kenny. He came here to the PP. It is place where people discuss the show and all things related to it. There really isn’t any reason to be upset. I don’t subscribe to either show. I come to the basement because I get a kick out of you crazy people. I would suggest staying off the PP if it going to be upsetting. This board is very supportive of Kenny. I am shocked that he is calling people “slow” and hurling other insults at his fans (some who still pay to listen to him). Wow! My opinion has totally changed about him. I always thought he was more professional had himself more together then TS. That rant was crazy stuff.

What's the difference between you, me, or kenny posting? Like it was pointed out, hes not a celebrity, just a regular person like the rest of us. Just like EVERYONES been pointing out, its the internet, people say what they want. Hes 100% allowed to defend himself especially when things were completely taken out if context. Him commenting is no different from when ya'll decided to make fun if Melanie Cox for no reason and she defended herself. He talks, you comment. You talk, he comments. The people twisting his words arent his fans.

I 100% agree with backing up what you said, but I still can't figure what was said that upset him?? I haven't read all the posts here because I honestly just don't care enough about this to, but I skimmed them and can't figure out where someone said he wanted to be a celebrity?

This whole thing has made me sad, I thought the support here for Kenny was amazing, DB keeps telling people to subscribe to his show, so much great feed back that I subscribed off the reviews here. Then he comes in fists swinging and I can't figure out why?? At this point its a little we're dammed if we do, dammed if we don't. There are under 500 people registered here, and maybe 50 that regularly post. If people hate it so much, why even look??? Its not like its popping up in your face, its only here if you actively come looking for it.

And as for all the hidden user names, that was never the intention. That's just the way message boards have always been. Everyone picked fun names related to the show, because we loved the show! Its easy to sit behind your pay wall private FB page and call out others for hiding, but there were consistently over 50 lurkers on here all day yesterday because its an OPEN page that anyone can read, nothing here is hidden.

Anyway, I love Kenny Z. Started listening to him on my favorite radio station years and years ago, and have seen his stand up a handful of times.

Alright, I'm just gonna go ahead and do what I'm being accused of. I wasn't planning on ever posting Kenny's actual gossip here - I posted his tease because I wanted to get some of you slackers to finally subscribe to his show. But, that blew up in my face so here's the tea from the show yesterday:

RE: Taylor
- He will never work with Taylor again.
- When he told her he was moving, the first thing she said was "well I'm happy we didn't change the name of the show". Apparently management had been pushing to add Kenny's name to the show and Taylor didn't want to.
- Kenny's negotiations with Sirius were going well as far as him working remotely after the move, but Taylor threw him under the bus by saying she could do the show without him and negotiations stopped after she said that.
- They got a new manager before Kenny left and that manger was told to fire Taylor.
- Since he was technically classified as a producer rather than talent, he wasn't included in certain communications/meetings and Taylor wasn't always straightforward with him about what was going on.
- He "can't navigate around her insecurities"
- Taylor asked Kenny to do her new show for free 1 day a week.
- He has no hard feelings with Taylor, but they haven't really talked since he moved except for when he went on her show that one time and when he tried to meet up with her in NY recently.
- They are all good on a friendly/personal level. He's not angry.

RE: Victoria
- Taylor wanted the authority to fire Victoria
- Victoria wasn't happy with the show politics, so she went around Sirius management to Cosmo to try and get her own show. She told them that Kenny was upset too and thinking of leaving (which wasn't true at all) and got Kenny in trouble with Sirius management.
- Because Victoria dragged him into her negotiations with Cosmo without his permission, he told management that she was hitting on him at work.
- Victoria was very flirty with Kenny (while married to Vic).
- Vic got tipsy one night and told Kenny that Victoria loves him.

Misc:
- This whole topic started because Mike Babchick (sports guy from Sirius that would come on WakeUp once in a while) called Kenny out on the radio for not keeping in touch after he left
- They didn't like Bonnie Fuller. She was forced on them by management.
- Producer Steph- Taylor wasn't really on board with her from the beginning. Steph was very professional. Serena, their boss at the time, was saying negative things about Taylor to Steph, which put her in an awkward "in the middle" situation. She wanted to be on air more than K&T needed/wanted her to be. If Steph & Taylor got into a fight, Steph would cry and run to tell Serena.
- Sean Kilby is a great guy
- Not a big fan of Carin, says she could use some happiness in her life

She was actually hitting on him. Apparently she was so bad at her feelings that even her husband noticed it.

Did Kenny dislike Steph? The way Taylor frames it, she and Kenny couldn’t stand steph. He even accidentally texted steph something negative that he meant for his and Taylor’s separate text thread.

Every last bit of this is believable. It’s amazing how Taylor spins an event from reality into her own version of the truth. All this time she insisted it was Kenny’s idea to keep his name off the show.

What I gathered from the way he talked about her, is that they weren't big fans. Kenny was more optimistic about her than Taylor from the beginning, but it sounds like she generally wasn't a great fit for the show (too much too soon - she was very inexperienced), their manager threw her in the middle of stuff which created drama, and she was thirsty and wanted to be on air more than K&T needed/wanted her to be. I guess all that is to say it sounds like she is a nice enough person, but annoying to work with.

Oh for sure. Her singing made me cringe every time. I wouldn’t blame that at all for losing patience with her.

I got a totally different impression from his story about her. He was the one that actually recommended her for the job, but admitted she was too inexperienced for what they were doing. Someone asked if she was always trying to get on the air and he said yes, but she was trying to come up with new segments to take some of the work load off of them, not just to make it all about her, but that her goal was for sure to be on air talent.

Thanks Durst for the rundown. I think it's pretty big of Kenny to be so courteous toward Tay. If she did/said some of those things to me, I'd be like, bitch,bye. I'm disappointed that he came on here and spoke the way he did toward us, but I'm sure he was pissed off.

I’m a huge Kenny fan. Been to two of his shows live and even spoke to him. Once he left WUWT i realized he was the only reason I listened. I love his brand of humor and fell out of love with Taylor times 1000000.I honestly forgot about his podcast because I don’t pay to subscribe to any and it didn’t even cross my mind. But DB thanks to your posting in here I was all set to subscribe. I’m not sure I will now. You’ve been his biggest supporter on these pages..

I rarely post here anymore because I do not listen to Taylor but I had to in regards to this. Sometimes the posts on here are too aggressive, but never towards Kenny 🤷‍♀️
