I haven't listened since she was canned except for a few of the podcasts. This is the second time - at least that I know of that has been brought up here - where she is saying something negative about adoption. I am adopted. She is GROSS. The things she has said that I know of are just so stupid, and if I cared about listening to her like I did in the Sirius days I would be really offended, but since she has proven to be so stupid time and time again I guess it isn't worth it.

I thought it was weird that from the videos and pictures I saw, Canyon Ranch didn't look THAT nice. Idk what i was expecting exactly, but from Taylor's description I thought it'd be a little more glamorous/modern/sleek. It didn't look that special from what I could see compared to the image that was painted in my head. or maybe I'm just nuts for thinking it'd be nicer.

Same, especially since it was fairly pricey.

I was picturing the place from the desert wedding—no idea why, since I knew it wasn’t same location.

Someone on nation posted more pics and talked about what they did - I’m just confused. It sounds like it was literally a weekend full of fitness classes of some sort. I thought it was a spa? I would want massages and facials and wraps. No shade towards the person who posted because they seemed to have fun but the decor looked like it was from the 80’s lol I guess again, I had a very different picture in mind.

It just seems to insane to spend $1,500+ (I can’t remember the exact pricing but it was around there) for a bunch of work outs lol the one who posted about it did 95% fitness stuff or activities. To each their own, not what I would spend my money on. Good for everyone that went and liked it

I guess I was on the completely opposite end of what I thought it was be like, which was cabins or something. I thought it looked nice in a country estate kind of way. But for me it would be a waste because I wouldn't want to take all those classes. I didn't know that's what it was about. I also would think it's weird to hang out with Taylor's parents.

Canyon Ranch is sort of a chain...they have a few locations around the US. I have actually been to the Canyon Ranch in Tucson AZ. The guy I was dating at the time won it for being the highest salesperson for his region or something. So we really didn't pay anything. But I found out the rooms where we stayed were like $2100 a night. It was stupid insane for what it is. There were two different places where you could get food, and it's all inclusive. And you dont have to remember to tip, which was nice. But the rooms were not amazing, sort of rustic, which isn't my taste. We got a like $180 each day or something for different spa or activities. But the facial and massage I got there were good, but nothing special. I was able to do a meditation class which was really cool. And the hike we did was gorgeous. But I dont know, it just doesn't seem to be worth the price.
