Remember how often they traveled separately?

This. She seemed to have nothing but contempt for him. Everything he did seemed to be a source of embarrassment for her.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Its an interesting angle. I don't get the impression she would ever want to get back together with him necessarily, but perhaps she is struggling with the notion of forever giving up on the dream of marrying a rich guy and accepting her current lot in life.

I honestly do not believe that Taylor is carrying a torch for Brett.  I don't think she wants to be with any man again, ever.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

I don't think she is necessarily carrying a torch for Brett, per se, but I do believe she's still longing for the life/money/status she had when she was married to him.

I also don't think she'll never get married again, but my opinion is that she's struggling with the idea of marrying a girl. Not because she doesn't agree with it or is against it (obvi... she's publicly in a relationship with a girl), but because it's not the life she always pictured for herself. If things end with TD and she ends up with a guy again I wouldn't be surprised if she was quickly engaged and married. Just my .02.

That’s more along the lines of what I meant.  Perhaps she is reconsidering what is important to her money vs love and having s tough time picking what really makes her happy/tick.  I think the girl is miserable in her current tax bracket.

Shout out to Stassi at the live Broadcast.
Taylor: I used to be rich.
Stassi: She used to be married to a wealthy man.

I completely disagree. I think she will ultimately end up with a guy. And he will have money, no doubt in my mind. Brett 2.0, without the in-law issues. (Actually, her idea of a perfect guy is probably that gay guy who was her BFF when she was younger...the one who went to Harvard.)

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Hi everyone! I'm back under a new username   shoutout to Durst for coming up with it. Does anyone else miss regular Sean Kilby days? I just finished today's show and the 2nd hour has barely any Sean. I'm so sad! Love Wider and Hannah (2 of my fav guest segments) but no Sean time makes me sad. Even if he's not your cup of tea, he is so well seasoned in radio and I think can help steer convos in the right direction. Rant over!

I skip every Sean episode. I might give it a try again sometime if I get desperate but I just cringe when I hear his voice and he can barely form a sentence...

I feel that way about another cohost so I understand what you mean. I think his inability to form a sentence comes more from Taylor cutting him off, but that's just me. I love his side jokes that usually Taylor completely misses.

I like the way he steers the conversation, and gets her to move along. I wish she would stop cutting people off and let them speak, it makes me batty!!!

Also...glad you embraced the name, it’s too funny 🦊

Hah! Love it- we’re all about laughing at ourselves (and everyone else...) around here. Glad you’ve made it your own.

I like Sean but I’m not sure if it’s just because he reminds me of the CWP days or what. But I do love it when he makes jokes that go right over Taylor’s head.

Welcome to The Underneath , Felony!  Mad respect!

I used to love Sean then burnt out on him when he was Monday’s and Friday’s.  It was too much I guess.  I unsubscribed completely a few months ago bc I needed a break from the entire redundancy.

I wish Taylor would learn from those around her instead of thinking she is the gracious Queen Mother of radio/podcasting.  When you think you know everything , you will never learn anything.

I really wish she would listen to Robs show. Both for an idea on structure, and so her "news" isn't three days old.

Everyone around her is taking off at rocket speeds and she is remaining stagnant.  I’m sure she internally takes credit, but it speaks volumes about her character that she is spinning her wheels while everyone that is putting in the work and listening and absorbing and changing and really observing are succeeding.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

She ranted just the other day about how she is not up to date on news and never will be nor will she ever familiarize herself and everyone needs to just expecting it from her.
On another topic, has anyone noticed the huge influx of people on the FB group saying they unsubscribed? it seems like a lot.
And just to end on a positive note,  I really thing Taylor has been doing her very best to stop the in laws and repeat stories.  Its a long road for her because she it's so ingrained in her but i want to give a little tiny bit of credit for it.

Ive said it before and Ill say it again, I just do not understand what she does all day! She is done with the show at 10 AM. She is behind on all current tv shows so she's not sitting home watching tv all day, no clue on news stories so she's not on the internet and her social media is terrible. Where do the hours go?!

I've noticed this - kind of part of the reason I jumped over to the PP. It seems there's several every week that post about unsubscribing and I haven't been able to listen to a full show in a couple weeks. I can't pinpoint why though - you guys know I love the show LOL but recently there's something off. I'm sure Donny sees those posts so maybe something will change? However, it sounds like he may be leaving the show so who knows.

Donny seems to like working with Rob better.  Perhaps because Rob is more professional and prepared.  Rob can take a pinch too, which makes for great banter!

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

The amount of times Taylor has recently mentioned spending hours on the phone with her manager each day BLOWS MY MIND. She needs a new (real) manager who will push her. At least at The Facility, she had expectations to meet from others and bosses. This seems to be her downfall - not holding herself accountable (to read the news daily, to watch the shows/movies that give her relevant topics, to lose the weight she says she wants to lose, to get the gigs she wants, to get health insurance, etc). It is sad to watch because I've enjoyed following her and her career for so many years. Meanwhile, Hannah is blowing up bigger (and rightfully so, she works for it), Lori has more morning tv gigs, Emma is doing more pods, Rob is interacting with his fans, etc.

Yeah, I really think she can just scrap the Fix in Six altogether- I doubt anyone cares if she does news at all, and if she doesn't like doing it, get rid of it! Then she can just focus on having segments which is better anyway.

I miss Sean days so much. I cannot stand Hannah, and the fact that so much time is dedicated to her each week is frustrating. Make her a cohost so that I can skip her and just listen to Emma and Sean!

I like it the way it’s done on Rob days. She reads the headlines and he tells her the story.

I think that would be a great way to personalize each cohosts day. Let them pick the fix-in-six and tell her the highlights of each article. It would be another way to get to know the cohosts and learn about their interests. There have been too many days where she will have a bravo or certain celeb gossip story and the cohost could care less.

Yeah, he is around, but once Hannah did her spiel and Dr. wider did hers, Sean only had an hour.
