Can anyone fill me in on the Amanda Seyfried double stuffed oreos connection that Taylor and Andrea get so worked up about?
Offline
I haven’t listened, but double stuff Oreos is usually talking about Something Navy.

If you end up in a who wore it better with Dog the Bounty Hunter, you’re doing something wrong.
*side note- apparently TinyPic has shut down, so RIP to all our old memes 😭 If anyone knows of a better site than the one I linked to, lmk

Taylor's wedding was 150K!! wow. i guess its probably pretty normal for NYC, but wow.

The average American spends $33,391 on their wedding, Business Insider previously reported citing the Knot's 2017 Real Weddings study, and the bulk of that money goes toward a venue. But in New York City, where the cost of housing, food, entertainment, and everything else is higher, you can expect wedding budgets to balloon too.The average price for a wedding in Manhattan is $76,944, making it the most expensive big city to get married in the US.
So in 2010, Taylor's $150K was still over the top for NYC!
Personally, I don't care how much you spend on one day in your life, if you aren't asking me for money. I imagine Brett and his family wish they could get their $100k back (assuming Taylor and Brett's $50k came mostly from Brett).

Are you considering Taylor's wedding in NYC? Wasn't it in the Hamptons? Maybe that inflates it, or makes the price seem even more over the top, I'm not sure. I didn't listen to the episode, just curious.

I *think* Taylor mentioned it as an New York wedding cost even though it was in the Hamptons. Also, the talk on the FB pages is referencing NY weddings too. Either way, that shouldn't equate to a $75K price difference.

I think she realizes how gross she sounds when she says her wedding cost $150K and she bitched out her parents for not contributing enough to the wedding, and the marriage only lasted 5 years. She needed to try to “qualify” if by saying it was in NY/Hamptons in order to justify the gross amount.
This may seem extremely high, but I would guess Taylor cost Brett (and subsequently the Epstein family) about a million dollars, Including the cost of the wedding, the gifts/trips over the course of the marriage, the freedom of no bills or rent during that time, the ring everyone is freaking out about, and the alimony payment.
ETA:
could Tay have made $650k in the sale of the house?.....they bought it for 2.4 million and to remove her from the lease sold and re-bought it for 1.7.

I don’t think she got anywhere close to that amount, I can’t imagine her parents not convincing her to buy something with that.

Taylor and Hannah together are insufferable...it’s about as bad as Taylor and Daryn. All Hannah and Taylor seem to talk about is how much of a celebrity they are. I used to enjoy her, but post summerhouse Hannah really has become incredibly obnoxious.
Offline
Same, I enjoy her & Daryn together, both are pretty boring with Taylor though. I'm down to just enjoying Andrea. I really liked Sean, he was kinda douche when it was just him & Donny though. Donny is a good host, and Sean just kept talking over him and was kind of rude when Donny tried to make a joke a few times.

"Liked" Sean? What happened to him?? I don't subscribe to the TSS, but I always like Sean from back in the Patrick days.
Offline
I haven't listened this week. but Sean is still around i'm pretty sure, unless something happened this week.

He's still there, I did like him, now he annoys me.

Unpopular opinion: Andrea might try to pretend she’s not like the other Upper East Side moms, but she is exactly like them...she just has a good sense of humor.
The more I listen on Andrea days, the more I’m not so sure she’s a nice person. Although she attempts to be self-deprecating, in my opinion it’s not always sincere sounding. Meaning it sometimes seems like she’s saying it just to make herself not sound (or look) so bad. An example would be her always saying she never pays full price for anything (which is awesome and relatable) but then goes on to say what she she bought was a $900 dress on sale (completely unrelatable, to me anyway!). I am not sure she’s a great influence on Taylor, and together they can be awful. I really want to like her but things keep happening that make me hesitate.
Offline
I so agree. I think she brings out the worst in Taylor, and encourages mean girl behaviour and grotesque materialism.
Offline
I like Andrea... these days, she’s my favorite co-host.

I wasn't a huge Andrea fan in the beginning, but she has really grown on me. Although, i feel that she at times brings out the worst in Tay.
in other news, Donny is officially leaving D&R, but hasn't made the announcement yet on Tay's show. so I wonder who will be filling in all the guest spots while she is out on tour.

I am a big Andrea fan - I have followed her sarcastic Bachelor tweets for years. I have noticed that she has been enabling Taylor the last few weeks on the show, whereas she used to call out Taylor. Tay has been extra awful since the Stassi Tour, frequently talking about living the VIP life that she is barely working for.

WOW...today's rant regarding how women have to spend so much time fighting for pay equality that they do not have time to write thank you cards, therefore thank you cards should go away. All to justify her not getting a wedding gift for her sister and someone else within a year. She really needs to listen to her doctor about taking medication.
