Don't waste your time listening to Stassi's podcast from today. Taylor part 2.

LITERALLY everything we've mentioned here and more. Porn, parents were virgins, Guiliana, bieber, Joan inerview, girl squad, Katy vs Taylor. She highjacked the entire podcast up to the point I stopped listening at about 50 min. There was half an hour left and I bet I could guess how the rest went.

Exactly right. Wtf. She talked the entire time and it was all the same shit we hear all the time.

"My parents were virgins when they got married"! Double blowie! I hate sex! I'm catholic!

Rancic! Beiber! Katy perry! T swift! Joan rivers! Poop! I want to talk poop!!!!

Stassi spoke maybe 5 mins total

Re: Topics you never want to hear mentioned again

NYC real estate is insane. My cousin, an attorney had such a hard time get approved by a board with their savings an income guidelines. She finally purchased a sponsor unit (sold by the co that owns the blg as they switch rentals to condos/coops so they are less strict with backup funds) and I believe she pd 650k for a 1 bedroom on the uws, which Tay probably wouldn't consider an option, over 5 yrs ago and NYC has boomed since then... It's hard to say o she should just buy something. We don't know her settlement money or salary, everyone just has guesses. But we do know her priorities and I don't think home buying is one of them. The maintenance alone on her last place had to be in the thousands. Having said that $4200 on rent for her is a silly priority. Get a studio, decorate it up.

Someone who actually understands NYC real estate. It is insane and there are a ton of fees. We only assume we know all of her finances. She is learning. It's never too late to pick yourself back up and learn how to manage life and money. I used to come on this group for some entertainment. Now it just irks me with all of the negativity.

Re: Topics you never want to hear mentioned again

I can also support the expensive apartment. When my husband had to go away for 10 months for work I moved into a fabulous 1bd downtown apartment with an ocean view that was way more than I was used to paying. Smart? Probably not. But I could pay rent and wanted to enjoy where I lived if I had to be alone in it every day. Living alone is a tough transition, and that was something I needed at the time and don't regret it.

Durst Burp and FK Friday...those look like links to her actual apt building (based on what she has shown in videos). I think it would be a good idea to remove the links from your posts. Being that this forum is open to anyone I'm not sure that it's a good idea to publicly show where she lives.

I have to add:
Any mention of medical malpractice and/or insurance and physician reimbursement. Just because your dad is a doctor does not mean you understand anything about the practice of medicine. So many factually incorrect statements made during that conversation... I wanted to call in and add maybe we should put people in jail for making ludicrous and untrue statements in media! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 we could get rid of all of Fox News and most of MSNBC and CNN lol

My father has early onset Alzheimer's and that statement and her talking about it being "contagious" the other day made me shake my head so hard it almost fell off.  Did she ever fully explain either of those things or was it another half read article or overheard conversation that she's taken as fact without research?

She says it like it's an accepted fact and I've never heard that in my life! Why doesn't someone, like her producer, stop her?

In early September there was an article where some protien alzheimer's patients have can be spread between surgical tools. My friend told me about it a few weeks ago.  This way of spreading is very rare and needs way way way more studies.

i do wish she wouldnt speak with such authority without more facts. There was something she was talking about a few weeks ago. She did the lead in before a break and I was like WTF?? Then as she was talking about it, shes like "Yeah, now that I'm saying it outloud, that doesn't make any sense"

I think she could do a quick scan of FB or Buzzfeed and get good, fun stories that she would be interested in talking about and wouldn't take a ton of research.

Re: Topics you never want to hear mentioned again

Ok....can we get real here? Listening to the Bethany Mota interview, and Taylor has said a thousand times today how BM is the biggest #1 YouTube star ever. Incorrect. Does she ever do ANY FUCKING RESEARCH for interviews.... EVER?? Even Bethany corrected her, and her response was: but it says so on my info sheet! Then she talks about how obsessed she is with her and her YT channel. That is so obviously insincere Taylor!!! Prior to the break (before the interview) Taylor was saying, some you tubers do fashion or makeup tutorials or whatever, but she doesn't even do anything! I mean, Jesus...we could say the same about you girl...wtf. God I hate to get in this negative space again, but the fakeness is driving me freaking nuts.

The peanut talked annoyed me too!!!! Ugh I wish I had been listening earlier to call in about that. I understand we need to take responsibility for choices in everyday life....but no one buys a container of peanut butter thinking it's a game of Russian roulette with contracting Salmonella.

Re: Topics you never want to hear mentioned again

I'm starting to wonder if there are any higher ups that listen to WU? How do they allow this ignorance? I would have no issue if Taylor could back her statements and opinions up with research and fact. But she is  clueless on many topics that she is just embarrassing herself. Sorry. Rant over.

I've been wondering the same thing.  WUWT just doesn't compare to the other shows when it comes to being prepared, research before interviews, knowing what the hell you're talking about, etc.  I don't see how this can't be a problem.

also, we gotta remember, new listeners are finding wuwt all the time so these stories are new to them.  a friend of mine was annoyed that fyi channel re-ran a 9 pm episode of Married at First Sight (yes, guilty. i watched this train wreck)  at midnight.  i reminded her some people work a 3-11 shift so this is their time to watch it. i'm not annoyed by the redundancy (sp).  she is a good story teller and i'm still amazed at how fasssssst she talks.

I don't notice the constant repitition with other shows though. Maybe becasue I've listened so long it seems more often then it really is, but I feel like the same stories come up every week.

well in that case, every week would be a bit tooooo redundant even with me.  i think old Tay (oops i don't mean to say "old" like that obnoxious neanderthal (sp) who called in this week) was 100% unfiltered. what came up came out including a lot of stuff (much of it less than unflattering) about Brett. starting with the separation, divorce, etc, she legally became filtered. and i think some of the bloggers, probably not you, became almost insistent on hearing more personal details, voices rich with entitlement. maybe the more T became aware of that i think the more she pulled back now i guess she's trying to find middle ground again.  that's why i think we're hearing more about what's going on in the news, like politics, etc.  kenny helps by expanding on the 7 things.  she mentions her ex- on occasion but maybe part of terms of D might have been to not mention Brett.  if that's the case its almost like she has to omit a substantial chunk of her life. so we're getting stories about college days, pre-married era, etc,  and this new grp of friends. emotionally, we know she cries a lot and is not afraid to do so. seems almost self-soothing.  i think in earlier post, i called it her quiet moments.  other than that, she's still guarded. no silacious (sp) details about why she's crying, just that she does. Stevie Wonder could see that a reality show wouldn't work for someone who's guarding their privacy. i dont see that happening but what do i know.  anywhozitt... btw who is this new group of friends?

Re: Topics you never want to hear mentioned again

I think the show was good this week. Sounds like they are getting back to the old routine. Kenny's probably getting more sleep now that the in laws are able to help out and he doesn't have to get up so early to commute to work. Tay also seemed to be in a better place this week. No angry talk about the ex in laws. I do agree that she needs to research more information on topics she plans on bringing up. Most of the time, the tvs in the cabs are on such low volume, you can't hear all the info. Her info comes out as I f she's just reading the headline of the topic and half listening to the actual information. You've got time in your commute, bring up the article on your phone. Hopefully they can continue doing well. I was actually laughing a lot with the show this week.

i too enjoyed the shows this week and i really liked that kenny held his ground on his opinion on something earlier in the week and didn;'t cave in no matter how many times Tay said, "right?"  can't remember the topic. it's okay if they don't see eye to eye because i look to Kenny for a male perspective sometimes.  have a great weekend everyone

Sure. I remember two examples: in Monday's show, in the first hour, during the Emmy show wrap-up, they were sort of debating whether or not Viola Davis deserved the Emmy over Kerry Washington. Kenny sort of got quiet when he realized he disagreed, but he stuck with his vote for Viola.

Also, at the end of the first hour of Wednesday's show, Tay talking about her blog- about buying Minolo Blanik's- and he said, "I don't know if you're in that place anymore."
