I was fortunate enough to see him a few times (soundgarden, audio slave , solo and temple of the dog)

I never got to see him live, but yeah so so sad for his kiddos...so tragic.
I feel that same about Scott Weiland. Fortunately, I got to see STP during a sober period and it was amazing! Saw them again a couple yrs ago at ROTR, shortly before he died, and his performance was embarrassing.

It's such a heartbreaking loss for the music community. Chris Cornell was a true icon, and his influence on grunge and rock will never be forgotten. I'm really sorry to hear about your husband's disappointment; it must be tough to cope with such news, especially so close to the concert. š¢š¶
