We were gonna go tubing, then to our cities outside party (they have a bunch of bands, skating, fireworks, beer tents), but its below ridiculousness out so staying home, drinking, eating crap and playing games!
What are you up to?

Keeping it relatively low key this year while I recuperate- going to dinner with another couple, trying a restaurant that just opened called Valley Smoke. I guess it’s “fancy bbq”, and they have a separate bar entirely for bourbon. I’m not a bourbon drinker but the Mister is pretty excited about it. He also likes to blow things up, so it’s off to the beach for fireworks after that!

Totally! I thought it was a redneck thing, but yeah I think it’s just guys in general. We live in a little village not super in the country but outside of town and we always have a huge block party for 4th of July, and our fireworks display lasted for like 3 hrs straight this year. They also put a quarter stick of dynomite duct taped inside a mini fridge and blew it up in the middle of a field lol. It was bananas. In hindsight probably not smartest or safest idea they’ve ever had...😂

What better way to show your love for your country than blowing up a small part of it.

NYE is our wedding anniversary but we will keep it pretty low key. We will hang with friends drinking and setting off fireworks. We also have to shuttle the teenagers to and from their party. In SC they can't drive after 6pm.

Being a guy, I too enjoy explosions! There is this little town in Alabama about 25 miles north of where I live called Florala. (Original huh?) I go to this firework shoppe for a multitude of reasons....the wife fails to see my obsession with this place.

Happy New Year everyone! We went to the Chiefs/Broncos game today (it was only 19 degrees at kickoff but with the wind chill, it was 7) so tonight, we are literally 'chillin' out. It's a somber day in Colorado after the police shooting (we are also a law enforcement family) so partying isn't much on our agenda anyway. I wish all of you a safe and happy end to 2017 and a brilliant start to 2018!! So glad to call you my troll friends!❤️❤️

New Year's plans can range from big celebrations to quiet reflections! Some love attending parties, fireworks shows, or traveling, while others prefer a cozy night with family, setting goals, or practicing gratitude. Whether you're making resolutions or just enjoying the moment, the key is to welcome the new year with positivity. 🎉✨ What are your plans?

Kicking off the New Year with fresh vibes and meaningful plans always feels exciting. One thing I’ve added to my list this year is upgrading my space with Zenco Glass — honestly, it just makes everything feel cleaner and more open. I’m planning a few cozy gatherings at home, so having that sleek glass touch really sets the mood right. It’s the little changes like this that make a big difference in how you start the year. I’ve been thinking more about comfort and simplicity, and this just fits. Zenco Glass brings in so much light, it’s like a daily reminder to keep things bright. Cheers to clear goals and clearer spaces this year!
