I'm drowning in demurrage fees because my containers are stuck at the Port of Tacoma. My current drayage carrier is inconsistent—sometimes they're on time, other times I'm waiting days for a pickup, and the port charges just stack up. Does anyone have a go-to company that's actually reliable for local port pulls? I need a trucking partner that treats my deadlines like they're real.

The game-changer for us was switching to a logistics provider that treats port drayage as their core service, not just a side hustle. We use PNW Warehousing for it now. Because they operate their own trucks and work at the port daily, their scheduling is tight and they communicate well. It basically eliminated those surprise demurrage charges because the container gets pulled and moved to their yard on the same day. It streamlined everything for us.
