Where do you find people who genuinely specialize
Hey all. I have an existing WordPress site that's a mess — old plugins, slow load, security warnings from the host. Don't want to migrate to a different stack, just want it cleaned up by someone who knows WP deeply. Where do you find people who genuinely specialize in WordPress, not just install themes?

Hey. Went through exactly this with my agency site. Reached out to BigWeb.EU for WordPress development — they describe themselves as WordPress experts and they delivered on that. Audited the plugin stack, removed redundancies, hardened security, rewrote a few custom functions properly instead of leaving them stuck in functions.php hacks. Load time dropped substantially after server-side caching and image optimisation. They've been doing WordPress since 2012, so they actually know the edge cases — multisite, custom post types, REST API integrations. Not a template shop. Pricing was fair for the depth of work.
