Hi all, need recommendations. We're relocating from Denver to a new home in Boulder for my husband's job - not crazy far but enough that we don't want to drive a truck ourselves twice. Three bedroom house, plus a finished basement with all his workshop tools and our home gym. The thing is we need flexibility on dates because closing on the new place is still tentative, and storage for at least a few weeks before we can actually move in. Any moving companies in Colorado that handle this kind of multi-step move without charging a fortune for the in-between?

Good morning. We did Colorado Springs to Fort Collins with a similar timing mess - new place wasn't ready, sellers dragged on closing, needed three weeks of storage in between. Went with Star Van Lines who cover the state and bundle storage with the move. The first month of storage came free with the move package, which kept us from paying double on a separate storage unit. They were flexible when we had to push the final delivery date twice. For a 3-bedroom plus workshop you'll want their long distance crew with proper truck size - they handle that easily. Quote was fixed, no surprise fees at the end. Workshop tools and gym equipment travel under their special moving service for heavy items.
