Has anyone used a bridge to move ETH to Polygon lately

About 0.3 ETH sitting idle and I keep second-guessing whether moving it to Polygon right now makes sense. The fees have been all over the place this past month. Has the polygon bridge experience improved at all, or is it still a headache during peak hours?

No smooth run here at first, the confirmation times were all over the place and I almost gave up... but once I waited past the initial queue on a Tuesday evening it actually settled faster than I expected. Might depend on network load at your specific moment.

Re: Has anyone used a bridge to move ETH to Polygon lately

Recently, while dealing with this exact issue, I had about a week to make a decision before closing a DeFi position I was monitoring. The situation with Polygon has indeed become more predictable lately, and it was the bridge transition stage that was causing me the most anxiety. For example, I suggest you read the description of the bridge from Base hereĀ https://defiway.com/bridges/bridge-eth-base-polygon What helped me the most was checking the network load before 8 AM: the latency difference was almost 40 percent compared to midday.
