Do you think it's controlled by Sirius or are the individual shows responsible for updating their shows onto the app? I just assumed it was this particular show that can't get their act together. Are there problems with, say Howard's shows? I use the twitter feed as well so not sure how it all works!

go to the twitter handle @wakeupshows, (https://twitter.com/WakeUpShows) then click the hour. I find it works best on iPad/iphone not the computer. but it should just play after it loads.

I hate how she calls this the secret board that her sluethy family & friends uncovered. Its literally the 3rd or 4th thing that pops up on Google and has been posted on her own shows FB page. WHICH I can't believe she has never looked at till today!! This my dear is why you're failing.

She said she has never been here, no idea how to find "the secret page" but her family and friends did and tell her whats happening. I'm assuming Kenny has, he said he was really upset (something along those lines) about the discussions about Chelsea.

Referring to the vacation talk from yesterday's show... I thought Tay had plans to go to Turks and Caicos over the break? Or is it planned for her birthday weekend?

She talked about going on a family trip in February a while back. That could be the Turks trip.

not finished today's show but i am at the point where Kenny is talking a lot about Duke and Taylor is probably the most attentive I've ever heard her. i for one find this refreshing. it is in the 6 am hour (est) maybe it is a new year? also Kenny talking a lot about hating things that are useless or pointless. working for the Federal Gov't would kill him. talk about pointless, useless, repetitive. OMG. surprised it hasn't killed me. but... it's all about the attitude.finally, I'm with Tay. i hate to fall asleep somewhere other than my bed, like on the sofa or maybe in the gutter happy 2016 everyone.

I don't even know where to start about the conversation today about women telling each other how to live.
Taylor - you can not expect friendships to revolve around your life only. You can not constantly refuse to acknowledge the events in your friends lives and expect them be OK with that. Being called out for BS is not the same as judgment.
When you complain about people in your life everyday for YEARS, loyal listeners can't help but identify the parts of the problem that are your fault. There is a pattern, and it is immaturity. The two callers who very nicely tried to say this were not wrong.

This is a couple days old, but it's such a pet peeve of mine. The gender pay gap. The way Taylor talks about it, like the world just discovered women made less last week. NOOOOO!!! i get it, you didn't care what you got paid because your husband made so much money it just didn't really matter. But not to most families, the fact that i am getting short changed at my job effects my household. My first job out of College i got offered $15/hour as was pumped (i was 22, with no bills), my now-husband was working part-time finishing college and getting paid $12/hour. A guy i worked with(no college education), who started working like 2-weeks before me got starting pay of $20/hour. When i found that out a few months in, thank god i was alone in the office, because i cried and was pissed.

On This is Why Your Single Tay said she was originally offered the same salary as Nicole, who was the receptionist at the time.

I was actually thinking that sounds legit...I could imagine being a receptionist at a corp like SXM would be quite a bit of work. T came in no name, no experience to co-cohost. - same salary was probably warranted. T then had the platform to build an audience/following and put in the work to have a reason to negotiate a higher salary.
