1) Be healthier (ok, get skinny and eat more fruits and veggies)
2) Stick to my cash only budget

Re: New Years Resolution/Goals

I'd like to finally stop procrastinating!
I'd also like to TRY and stop letting certain people's opinion of me dictate my mood.
*There's a person in my life that I have done my best to avoid, but I still hear from other people that
she continues to bash me behind my back. I'd like to stop caring what she thinks of me. Her opinion of
me isn't my business because I'll never be able to change it!

Good luck to all!

Re: New Years Resolution/Goals

I'm generally a positive supportive person. I'm getting rid of people who are a constant negative Nancy. I know someone who will suck the happy out of a perfect day. She literally cannot open her mouth without complaining. To those people, I'm saying Bye Felicia...
Life isn't perfect, I will never be perfect, but my attitude is great and I always look for the good.

Re: New Years Resolution/Goals

Just checking in with exciting news. I am following through with the resolution I set on Jan 4th in this thread! I just finished week one of my certification training!  I enrolled in a boot camp style class. Usually the amount of information is spread out over a year but I found a training that meets multiple times a week for 3 months in the evenings and on weekends.
It's a LOT of information and I'm super overwhelmed right now but I'm also super excited!! I had to cut out a few other extra things that were in the way time wise and financially but the sacrifice will all be worth it in the end!
I'm so grateful for this board. It's my escape!! 🤓😎😃

Re: New Years Resolution/Goals

For anyone wanting to lose weight, this is super easy (after the first 3-4 days), I lost over 40lbs last year doing this over and over. A few days to a week to cheat in between, those times kept getting shorter and shorter though.

Re: New Years Resolution/Goals

Awesome work ladies!

Just today, I out-briefed a project I've been working on for a year.  I was so nervous as I hate public speaking and it was a few hundred of my organization's leadership but, phew, I did it.

I've also been running almost every morning and while I might hate it some days, proud to be 12 pounds down and fitting back in my clothes, lol.

Keep up the great work sistas!

I still eat natural peanut butter. Not sure if it's what they meant, it's just peanuts though so I figure it's ok!
