So I listened to the Khloe K interview on Howard Stern today and I have to say, it was so so hard to follow. He must have asked her about her new talk show 5 times but kept interrupting her so she couldn't answer the question. And he did that the entire interview. Taylor is a TERRIBLE interviewer also, but Howard wasn't great. He was of course more prepared for the interview than Taylor ever is. So maybe, since she calls herself the female Howard Stern, this is why she is bad at interviews. Although, she does make all the interviews about herself. But she is a self professed narcissist

I haven't listened to it and I'm not a hs fan but I typivally enjoy his interviews because he's always able to pull something out of a media trained celebrity that's on their millionth interview and has set answers to most questions.

I agree. He always asks unique questions. And he s ALWAYS prepared for every interview..

This just made me think of Taylor's interview the other day. She is obsessed with Shark Tank, but couldn't even pronounce Bantam Bagel. That was awful.

Off topic, I hate FKF now though. I loved it when it was weird good, now it's just a plug for companies and is so boring. All the chewing and swallowing and it's AMAZING makes me change the station.

I could not agree more. Remember the days when Victoria had to go to Burger King to pick up whatever gross new item they had? It is all just a big advertisement now.

I don't like fkf either. I feel like the intern or producer just picks a random restaurant to give a plug to. Much funnier when they ate mainstream junk food that we've all heard of. And it was hilarious when they made snobby Victoria join in.

I really liked the Khloe interview.
I love Howards way of interviewing. I think he's always fast talking about changing the subject to get them to let their guard down and answer more than they would with anyone else. And it always works. Howard is my favorite interviewer and since there are so many shows on demand, I often find myself listening to those rather than Wake Up.
I feel like she talked about the show a lot. I know it's on FYI because of the joke about never being able to find the station. There's not much to say about it yet, since she couldn't even leak who the guests were.

Bantam Bagels were on already... I think they came back because it was a charity thing and if they could fit 5 bagels in their mouths at once, BB gives a certain amount to a pre-determined cause. I heard Taylor complaining that her mouth was really small, even though we hear a lot of BS coming out of it. (She stated it better!). I don't know if BB calls their bagels this, but Kenny kept referring to them as "Bagel Bites"...I had visions of the frozen packs in the grocery stores made by another company. Probably not what they were going for...lol. But I really do want to try them!

I did used to love FKF too...when it was new, weird food. Not commercials. I don't think having people who mix cocktails in are great examples...we definitely can't order those online! Lol. Oh well...what do we know. We are just the Reddit page.

I loved it when it was weird shit, like gross Canadian chips! so funny, or the original one from KFC. Now it's a boring plug. The Bantam bagels charity thing was dumb, they were wayyyy to big to not die trying to fit 5 in your mouth. I do like muddling memories and that outdoor magazine guy - may be the same guy? and the fancy wine guy was interesting. Those guys aren't plugs.

Random, but I followed the Muddling Memories guy on Insta and he followed back and wen through my pics and liked over 10 of them, most from over a year ago. It was weird, in an almost creepy way.

i don't think Tay and Brett made them choose, but it's life to stay closer with 1, especially when they start dating.

Taylor's interview questions are SO fucking stupid!! She asked Lauren Conrad how important was it to get along with people in the business world. WTF?? She asked Melissa Joan Hart some stupid question like "How much do you love your job?" I can't believe her bosses don't force her to be prepared for celeb interviews. She said once her bosses wanted her to go an interviewing class and Kenny talked her out of it. Big mistake! HUGE! I can't believe how lazy she is. and how mad she gets for expecting to do her job every once in awhile. Every time they have a celeb interview she whines and whines about having to stay late.
I'm not sure why i still listen. Sometimes I think its just to keep up with this board bc its fun. But I definitely hate listen most of the time now. Also she is train wreck and I cant turn away. I can't wait for the day she is held accountable. Sam does it a little bit but she dismisses him.

I agree- that LC piece was torture. I can't believe after 10 yrs she can't make an interview flow more conversationally. it sounded like she had a notepad with 27 questions and she was just going down the list until they ran out of time...

Another thread reminded me of this, but at the Miami Food Festival she ACTUALLY asked a chef "How hard do you work? cause I don't think people understand how much work it is" I don't think she could have asked a more stupid question if she wanted to!! That kind of thing is just so fucking annoying. What kind of professional interviewer ask people if they work hard?????

The only thing I can guess is that he didn't want to hurt her feelings by agreeing she needed it? Or maybe he thought he could help her out along the way? I think Kenny is a great interviewer.

I love Lauren Conrad. I even bought her new book last week. She has done so many amazing things, but the interview was so painful to listen to. I was so disappointed in the interview. There were a million things she could've talked about but instead had these weird forced questions. Have y'all ever noticed she'll ask a question then just say uh-huh instead of carrying on a fluid conversation. She could totally go off on someone's answer and keep it going but she doesn't! I actually used to love Taylor's interview style bc it was different and made guests feel comfortable but lately it's just forced and awkward. Maybe she's trying too hard?

I couldn't agree more!! LC would answer a question and Tay just went right on to the next rather than trying to create a good rapport. i think LC felt that the flow was off or that stay wasn't a great interviewer too because I could hear a tone in her voice as she answered some of the questions. Of course she was gracious and answered, but a couple of times her tone gave me a vibe that was like why is she asking me this or maybe a little uncomfortable. I've heard many other LC interviews so I highly doubt it was on her end. I was even thinking why the hell would she ask that a few times.

Agreed, LC seemed uncomfortable with some of the interview, you could definitely hear it in her voice.
