Politics

Some love it, some hate it.  I'm not sure.  Where do most stand?  I saw on forum someone who said she turned it off, then Christal clear Christine with the lengthy Beyoncé bitching.  I don't mind some days, other days I don't even want to think about politics, cops, etc-just want to smile or laugh....I guess it's current events....

Re: Politics

I love politics but I wish Tay if possible could discuss other candidates besides Hillary and trump.....

I could not disagree more with crystal clear Christine on the beyonce formation song and performance.....This was one of those discussions I wish I was able to call in.

For starters the video was set in New Orleans and used an actual post-Katrina "bounce music" documentary for inspiration and for footage for the video.....
and I'm not going to start on the biased point of view she had about the black panthers.

I will however say I do appreciate Taylor and Kenny being brave enough to address social issues and offer their perspective on some of the situations at hand.

Re: Politics

I don't know.  Everyone is entitled to an opinion.  It seems rare that Taylor & Kenny get opposing viewpoints.  I saw her point in panthers, historically accurate wherein they were responsible for deaths of officers.   That said, no entertainer is going to sway my opinion, let alone my vote in an election...just don't believe that anyone would take an entertainers opinion as gospel...or have THAT much influence.  That's where I disagreed w/c.c,Cristina - yes they have a voice, but dose anyone really LISTEN to them?  I find that doubtful.

I totally agree with all of this! There is one candidate who addresses all the issues that T says she's worried about, but they never mention him! I also appreciate their willingness to have these conversations, I just wish they would prep a little prior to the topic (just so they have more facts, less hypotheses). And I do wish T would stop giving Chris Christie so much credit for being bipartisan; he shook the Presidents hand in front of a video camera while accepting money for his state post-Sandy. That's not impressive, that's his job. But, I digress lol. I think they did a pretty good job with that segment, I liked that Kenny pushed back, he was saying all the things I was thinking!

Re: Politics

Christine is a little earnest about everything she posts and calls in about-it gets on my nerves.

Re: Politics

Either way, by the time it's down to two it's gonna be a hugetopic all the time. Can't even imagine whose gonna be left standing.
