Hold up - is Matthew the guy who designed their WakeupwithTaylor.com site/forum!?
Yes, definitely. He reads this page too.
Offline
Ok, so he is also the author of the "Everyone is just jealous of Taylor post, etc". Now I know why Taylor is obsessed with him. He's a yes man.

I'm guessing that Matthew is the forum designer, just based on the fact that his presence in studio coincided with the development of their new website.
I know he is not an "on-air" person... but I think its interesting that he is the "Web and Social Media Coordinator at Wake Up With Taylor!"

I believe Matthew is the son of Van Toffler, former President ofViacom Media Networks Music & Logo Group at Viacom.

Oh, that all makes sense with their friendship, huh? You girls are super sleuths!

Once I saw young Matthew's loooooooooong resume in media, I knew. One of his first internships was at The Weinstein company for christ's sake

Pretty sure that is a pre-requisite for employment 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I'm usually just a lurker But felt compelled to comment because I really respected how he came to this forum and chatted with us and asked for our feedback. Just want to defend someone who appears to be a nice guy.

Oh, I'm not saying he's not a nice guy. I just disagree with him that everyone is jealous of Taylor, or that celebrities "feel lucky to be on her radio show".

I agree! He seems like a really sweet guy who is actually invested in his work.

Again, not trashing him, Kenny (who I love) is also a yes man to Taylor.

Is he part of the "board of directors" of Taylor's life that she was talking about a couple weeks ago?
Offline
I don't know, but given his very significant media connections, I would guess that he is...

She certainly is quick to stand up for him...I've noticed it with Robert Verdi. He loves to pick on him (not saying it's right but it's pretty funny). And Taylor is definitely taking it on as his protector. I've heard it several times in the past week in Real Talk and when Robert was co-hosting. Lol...all the pieces are falling together!

I know, I laugh every time Robert starts teasing him. She does jump right in there to defend him against harmless teasing. And you are so right, all of the pieces ARE falling together!

Speaking of people being jealous did you hear the caller that said maybe she's jealous of Hilaria and Gweneth? Lol she acted as though that was SUCH a silly concept. Yes because everyone is just jealous of her, of course, but she's not jealous of anyone.

I came here to write this!! i didn't even necessarily disagree with them, but to act like that was absurd was ridiculously hypocritical!! 😂😂😂 #thatsabsurd #wordoftheday

Doesn't Taylor hate Jenny? I thought she's said some backhanded stuff about her show before (which I love even though I'm not a huge Jenny fan) but then today she's raving about her? Maybe I'm confused.
She has definitely said things about how it's BS celebrities just get handed jobs at SiriusXM, get paid more, etc. However, do remember her saying kind things about Jenny.

I wouldn't say it on the radio, if I were Taylor I would be annoyed as well though. Jenny got part of her time slot and the repeat slot. Its the nature of the business (an most businesses) though. If Beyoncé wanted a show, she would probably bump Jenny.
Both Jenny's also broadcast from their houses lots as well an that's gotta sting.

Yes it is nice to be handed a job, but they still have to work to keep it. I'd love to see how many listeners those shows have compared to Taylor.

If Beyoncé wanted a show they'd give her a channel and Howard's office lol

I thought that she had said stuff about people on the channel who essentially didn't have to do anything for their slot and the money they make. I always thought it was Jenny (and she even brought it up with Keven-Maria Menounos' fiancé) but clearly it could be someone else. I don't listen daily so I might've missed something.

Dirty Sexy Funny is a phenomenal show. At first it was shaky, but now it blows Wake Up out of the water. It's the best show on that channel in my opinion. Extremely well produced, and always different. It helps that the two producers partcipate, and are both very talented and funny in their own right. Also, Jenny Mc is a hustler, she's not averse to work - unlike Taylor.

I completely agree! Plus, Jenny seems to interact with her fans on Twitter and Instagram a lot. She is nice to callers. The show is very structured and the producers are great. Sometimes I switch over to DSF on certain days (on Bachelor and RH recap days mainly).

I am with you guys. Jenny really does her research for interviews, and they cover a wide variety of topics. They also make parody songs on the regular, which are often very entertaining. They also do a documentary club. And I totally agree that everyone on the show is entertaining.
I don't listen to it everyday, but when I tune in, I always feel like I am getting something new and gaining something from it.

So nice!! At the beginning I thought it was an act, but still now, she is so thankful when people call.
The purse song was amazing, had to play it for a girl at work lol

I love DSF so much and the chemistry the 3 of them have. David is hilarious! And their parody songs are downright catchy. You should see me jamming out to "Pain Bodies"
I haven't been loving Best Friend Fridays as much lately-Idk why, too raunchy or out of control? I used to love it.

Yes, DSF's parody songs are in a class all their own! I wish Kenny would do more parody bits like he used to (like Big Ed's), because he is great at them as well. He's very talented. BFF Friday's are my absolute favorite, I could listen to those girls all day! I also love when Donnie is on, especially when she plays clips of him crying while watching The Bachelor. He is adorable. I just realized that he is the crazy dude in The Sixth Sense who shoots and kills Bruce Willis' character - I didn't even recognize him!
