The green belt is awful! I can't believe she is trying to charge that much. It looks like something I sewed in middle school home ec class.

Conspiracy theory: that hideous belt was a gift from one of E sisters and her selling it online is a big ha-ha fuck you.

That is the only possible explanation.

Re: Tay's Closet...

Ugh Tay's comment on Friday's show about the sarong that sold so quickly from her closet bugged me so much- "lesson learned! If you want something you better get it fast!" As if we're all sitting around with bated breath waiting for her to post new stuff that we're DYING to buy. Please.

But I think I figured out why all of her stuff is so overpriced- I bet she never buys used clothing and has no idea what the market is like. She wouldn't have had a need to in her "old life", and as much as she talks about the places she shops I'm sure she would have said by now if she has some favorite consignment stores. I buy/sell at consignment stores and on Poshmark often. Good luck getting $50 for a used anything from H&M- they hardly sell anything new for that price!!

Re: Tay's Closet...

She did talk about a vintage shop once... I think she bought an Oscar de la renta dress. Prob went with a friend and paid $600 bucks or something dumb for it...

Re: Tay's Closet...

I bet the nude midi skirt goes bc that was on her blog and $350 for a used Kate spade dress is dumb. Guess she figures why not charge a lot. People are buying the crap she's hocking even though it's overpriced and used. That's what some fans will do I guess. If they didn't buy it for a good price she would stop posting and gouging her fan base like when she tried to charge for the behind the scenes video.

That someone "hacked" her site while they were updating "inventory" made me laugh!

From the IG pic of shooting the clothes, you would hunk the pics would have been way better!

Re: Tay's Closet...

The pics are awful. You can't even see the whole
Item in the pictures. How hard is it to step back and capture the whole item in the frame? I would never buy anything from her but cmon put a waist measurement or length or something.

So sloppy. It's not like she that much of a fashionista that people will be clamoring for her old stuff.

Re: Tay's Closet...

Of course Taylor would have bought a real rabbit fur. I hope nobody buys that shit. Disgusting and disappointing.

Did she really need to rent a studio for these photos? If I had to guess by the time you rent a studio and give your photographer bff some sort of compensation, you've spent more than she'll make on on this lame stuff. I don't feel like that's a very good business decision. I could've taken better pictures with my iPhone on my closet floor and actually put the entire piece in there.

Re: Tay's Closet...

Looks like where she shot with Robert Verdi which I also thought was silly to rent a space for...

I think it may be the same day. Her top is differnt, but the rest of the outfit is the same.

Re: Tay's Closet...

I get that she wants things to look professional but she almost does it to a detriment that then she doesn't do as much. Meanwhile anyone looking to put her on tv or a reality show is looking more at her personal appearance vs production.

Re: Tay's Closet...

I was thinking the same thing! She can buy a manican on Amazon for $30 and do this in her apartment. I think it's more about her inability to do anything on her own.

Re: Tay's Closet...

Oy she took down the Kate spade dress bc her mom wanted it. That makes me sad for her, like she's finally parting with stuff after years of talking about selling it and she has to take down something that could net her $350 (even though that's a stupid price but if someone is willing to pay it...) for her mom to keep it. Unless the plan is for her mom to wear it then sell it, but still Just let her sell it so she can deal with her financial situation.

Re: Tay's Closet...

I agree with getmommie, she wants everything to be top quality, which i totally understand, but it's just not necessary at this point.  I know she rails on the fact that youtube stars have tons of camera men and help, but only once they get to a certain point and they need that.  When you start off it is totally acceptable to film it from your mac.  anyways...has anyone tried to sell any of their clothes on Poshmark.com?

I have some listings on Postmark! I have sold a couple of things, and it's a super easy process. It's hard to price items, because you probably won't ever get exactly what you ask for, but you also won't get offers if you price to high.. so it's a balance! Either way, I recommend it.

I agreeeeee!!!  She shits on you tubers all the time but the fact is they're doing more than she is and they began with a simple camera or computer. They didn't always have tons of camera men. And some are popular for just makeup vids so I doubt they have camera men, but idk. Anyway my point is girls and guys younger than her put in more work than she does for a national radio show! And she craps on them like they shouldn't get credit for what they've done.
