I have to say, I love Katie's voice. I especially love her laugh. I looked her up on social media because I enjoy listening to her so much.

I really love Katie's perspective and opinions, sadly her actual speaking voice just makes
me shudder.

Omg I agree!!! I wanted to listen today but just couldn't because her voice bugs the crap out of me! And when she said "soul-crunching" (as opposed to "soul-crushing") I had to stop listening.

Only got to hear a little on my drive to work this morning, but why all the Kelly Ripa hate? She got blindsided and took a few days off. Do we need to go back a year and count how many 3-day weeks we had to put up with while Kenny was on paternity leave? I mean, seriously, it was constant replays. And Taylor had 9 months basically to prep for his absence. I actually LOL'd when she said "the show must go on". #practicewhatyoupreach

OMG!  I kept shouting that at the radio during the entire segment!  

In Taylor's defense, if Kenny announced he was leaving the show in a few months (and totally blindsided her), but he still came in to do the show that day, I can't imagine Taylor just not showing up and leaving kenny on his own to do the show with no warning or a phone call.

Totally agree with Taylor this morning & posting the Prince photos. If it's someone that's constantly talking about the person (a friend is constantly posting about Coldplay, I would have no issue with her posting if something happened to Chris Martin) I understand, but so many seem bandwagonish.

This may be totally off subject, but I still listen to Patrick on The Wrap. Did anyone else hear that they let Sean go? I am so bummed! Seems like the end of an era. They were so good together. I kept thinking I hope Sean lands on another show on Sirius so I can still listen to him. I guess there's really not a role for him on Wake Up but maybe another? If you don't like Patrick or Sean you don't need to comment, but those that do what do you think would be a good place for him? Sidenote: Jenny Hutt commented on his twitter giving him encouraging words

@Ican'teveeeen, they let him go!!! I saw the tweets, but assumed he had made the decision himself. That sucks. Patrick and Sean are the duo. I remember when Leah left Cocks with P, how many different cohosts they went through before they landed on Sean. Makes me sad for both of them.

Damn I would love Sean on WU!! He would make a great cohost! He's informed, prepared, and funny as shit! He is everything that WU desperately needs!!

If they made Sean the 3rd host the show would be amazing! I doubt that would happen though. I hope he lands on a good show. I think he wants to be on the EW channel.

Also those "Get off me girls" were so obnoxious with their nasal, vocal frye and their superiority complexes. You read my mind!!! Also I was just like I why judge what people post or not? I'm sure most people just wanted to share what his music meant to them. I know my mom was crazzzzyyyy about him, but that doesn't give her any more right to post than anyone else. And ultimately people can and should post whatever they feel, it's their own social media. I haven't heard them making fun of the name yet, but unfortunately I'm not surprised she doesn't know that about Michelle's son. It would stink if she heard that.

While I fundamentally agree with the basic philosophy of what the "get off me" girl's campaign is-- they came off as basic white bitch as it can get. And while I'm going to go ahead and assume that they aren't that way- their demeanor, vocal timbre, and approach to preaching their business was a total juxtaposition to their intentions.
