She's baaa-aaaaack. Status is "new member" as of today.Ā I just read through the comments on that post. She asked Nati to block/remove her son from the group? Really? Reveal yourself some more. We see you.

Satellite radio can drop a show without warning, and they do it frequently. If ratings are low, or complaints are filed, the show is off the air in a snap. It could be as simple as that.

Lol yep - her personal account, two "professional" accounts as Taylor Strecker, and the show account.

All four of those are still up.
I thought you meant she had a fourth "Taylor Strecker" account; I didn't count the WUWT page.

For someone who talks for a living, why can she not pronounce any-fucking-thing correctly??? Ugh it's driving me nuts! Mue-zamm?? #wtf

Several people in the city and Hudson Valley area pronounce it that way.
Museum, penguin, and compass are the repeat offenders of the area.

museum = mew-ZEMM
penguin = PAIN-gwen
compassĀ = KAHM-pess

Here's my question - where are all these people "freaking out" about Tay taking a few days off expressing their displeasure? I don't think anyone on here was particularly angry over it? There were questions about where she was, but did I miss the freak out posts? I can't see the visitor posts to the Facebook page anymore (is this just me or did they take that function off??), but I can't imagine many people posting to the page when it's so inactive. And would anyone really email a complaint like this? Just curious if her tangent about needing vacation is legit.Ā (I get it, girl! You take your vacay!)Ā

The configuration has changed; I too was confused at first.Ā
Look to the left column with Home, About, Photos, etc.
Select "Posts," and the "Visitor Posts" will appear on the right as before.

Reaction #2: Irritation instantly evaporated after reading the above. THANK YOU for the belly laugh and Merry Christmas!

You can dislike her, hate her, love her, not understand her but you can't diagnose her with anything. To some degree, she is playing a character so as much as we'd like to think we KNOW her, we only see a side of her. She is likely very multifaceted, just like we all are.

Well said -- very much agree with this. As an educator, I see this in my own personality transformation within the classroom or with parents. I stand firm knowing I remain my true self within the workplace, but it is true that I do shift into this character, 'performing' in front of an audience. It's a balanced paradox of subconscious subtleties with postured performances, and it's in all of us. I applied (auditioned) for this position (character) and now work (perform) in this field (stage),

Especially if she is wanting to meet someone. Odds are gonna go way down if you keep bringing another woman to events.

Yes. Again, this feels like bizarro world to me. None of it makes sense. We make sense!

You all might make sense to each other, but you are all still very one-sided.

Why include her as a plus one if they are only friends? Possibly because Taylor is still freshly divorced, still an emotional wreck, and openly admits she prefers to stay snuggled at home with Netflix than walk a block to get coffee. When this happens, our true friends do what they can to pull us out of a seemingly bottomless hole of recovery; this would include taking Taylor to family gatherings or weddings, seeing as it is the season.

Going to events with a woman does not drastically decrease the chances of meeting someone. A wing man is a wing man, no matter the gender, age, or sexual preference. Gauging the playing field and meeting someone is loads easier with a friend or friends in the mix.Ā

Not everyone posts photos/info of their love life. Several instead prefer to post photos/info of that which lights up their life, including pets, family, landscapes, food, and even their same-sex-best friend who brings joy and a delightful lightness when that often feels lacking when recovering from a long term relationship -- especially a relationship Taylor has said changed her into someone she did not, in hindsight, recognize.Ā

Figuring out who you really are is a daunting task at any age, but it is fucking terrifying as you get older. Some do it well by being alone -- others need the support and drag-my-ass-out-of-the-house-when-I-get-insular assistance that comes best from friends.

I did. Things like this make me think they are together. I would never bring just a friend of a year or so on vacay to hang with my family out of state.

Is there a time frame to meet before your best buddy can "come over and play" at your parents' house?
Or is it more about criteria laid out in the archaic women-of-a-certain-age handbook?
Help me understand, please.

Okayyyyyy....I stand corrected (since you are really in to analyzing what I said). I am chuckling at your statement about Taylor not "abandoning a best friend"...yah right Jackie. Have you heard any of her stories in the last 10 years??? How many times has she:
A. Lost an invitation
B. Missed an important event (Kenny's movie/friend's mom's death/births/parties/etc)
C. Bragged about being a 'bad friend'???

I agree she wouldn't ditch someone to sleep with a dude...she hates sex, penises and blowies. I don't give a crap who she's dating actually and I honestly don't care if she talks about it. I was commenting on the thread and apparently struck a nerve with you. Sorry bout that!!

No nerve was struck -- that would be a silly waste of energy to be that affected.
I responded to your post with a question is all.

I thought that (she might be dating a Pig Beach guy) but if that were the case, why (at 33) would she have been sharing a Murphy bed with her friend who was a 'she' at the wedding of a Pig Beach guy? When she told the story, she clearly said, "My friend didn't know I wasn't paying attention when SHE pulled it down and it hit me in the head."

What is odd, wrong, or speculative about sharing a bed with your friend at 33?

Ā

Well I never said anything was WRONG with it and I never will. I was just making a point from a story she was telling. I also don't think it's odd or speculative... Although I honestly would only share a bed with my husband or sister by that age. Even my son was uncomfortable (rightly so...). But you are turning the story into more than what it was...just the fact she was at the wedding of Pig Beach guys sharing room with girls (when we were discussing her dating Pig Beach guys).

In no way am I "turning the story into more than was it was."

You stated: IĀ thought that (she might be dating a Pig Beach guy) but if that were the case, why (at 33) would she have been sharing a Murphy bed with her friend who was a 'she' at the wedding of a Pig Beach guy?"

My focus is not on the "Pig Beach guy" but rather "(at 33)."

With that inclusion, your tone projects negativity towards women-of-a-certain-age sharing a bed with another woman.

If you would like me to focus on the "Pig Beach guy," then here it is: If Taylor is dating a "Pig Beach guy," that does not mean she must spend the night with him while out of town. From what we've seen, Taylor is not the type of lady to abandon her best friend to bed a dude.

My dearest friend calls my mother "mom."
She and I call each other "sister."

i agree with this. I call my friends sister "Sissy" all the time, i call my friends parents some version of mom/dad, and people have commented that we look so cute together on insta. Ā
Ā

Yes, I too have several "so cute . . . love you guys . . . you two are my favorites . . . love this duo" comments on Instagram from friends, family, and colleagues. Never once have we thought those sweet comments to mean we are romantically involved.

Most people enjoy seeing the genuine love between true friends -- especially women, as we can often be catty and cautious of other women.Ā The comments are just an acknowledgment and an understanding of the warmth and snuggle-y feelings we have for our close friends.
