Hey, thanks for the tip!! Now, real talk- how bad do the needles sting? Not afraid of needles or pain, but I can't see Botox being injected on videos without flinching.....
 

 
I have chronic headaches/migraines and I literally just had Botox (covered by insurance...whoop whoop!) for the first time on Tuesday. I have nothing to compare it to obviously, but I had a LOT of shots. I think I had 3 across my high forehead and 2-3 between my eyebrows. Then the rest were kind of behind my temples on either side (3 each side), and above/in my hairline at the back of my neck (3 on each side I think??). I haven’t seen the outside physical effects yet (it’s only been 3 days, so soon it sounds like) but I can tell you that while the shots were little stings mostly, my face was still ‘hurting’ 2 days later. I can still feel it right now if I close my eyes and relax. One of the side effects, oddly enough, is a headache, which I managed to have the first night. My insurance covers something ridiculous like 300 units, but we didn’t use them all... we threw away a bunch. I can have it every 3 months. Obviously, the cosmetic effects for me are less because I get the shots in specific areas, but I’m hoping that next time I can ask for the leftover units to be put to better use!! LOL

I just subscribed and it was the easiest thing ever. These people... did they not listen on demand? Never hear a podcast? See the sun? Moon? It’s like walking my mom through new MacBook. Although I’m 31 and I’ve been trying to get my friend to subscribe to a podcast I know she would love and she’s like “Show me next time I see you..” how fucking helpless are you?! Ugh!

I’ll own my basic bitch snobbery and tell you I used Stassi’s code and got Boll and Branch sheets and the duvet cover and they are worth every penny! I think I saved like $50 with her code and the sheet set was $125 or something (this was almost 2 years ago) but omg I love them! I’ve never owned sheets not from Target or Homegoods or Bed Bath Beyond and these are truly amazing. Keeps you warm without sweating, totally worth spoiling yourself for! I have one set that I wash every 2 weeks (once a month is more accurate lol) and they’ve held up great. I don’t use anything else now, wash and immediately put back on my bed.

I think you are on to something...it was Thursday when Ed posted that picture of them and Tay commented when I’m sad I need some Ed in my life.. she was definitely upset about something on Thursday.
I wonder if after she announced the trip on Wednesday Sirius told her not to mention it again until they did a further review, or pending an investigation perhaps? Or something happened Wednesday night when her and Lori were at the Wine and Food Festival...

Is it possible the trip actually had nothing to do with it and she was just straight fired? Perhaps Sirius/Stars is just going in a different direction? Maybe they were just unhappy with her ratings? Perhaps when they approached her Sunday AM and told her this would be her final week she freaked out and said no thanks I'll just walk away now instead?

I loved Annabelle on the show. I do listen to her podcast but mostly just the ones with her friend Megan the Vanderpump girls. Stassi turned me on to her podcast and I don't listen to every episode but I thought she had great one liners and commentary during the show. She's also a fan of Taylor so I imagine she was a little bit nervous since this was a dream come true for her. I think of her like Stassi, she jokes about being spoiled etc and maybe she can be but she's also very funny about it and self deprecating so I do enjoy her.

Does anyone else listen to Adderral and Compliments? Annabelle is coming on to cohost which I'm excited to hear. Could either be really good or really bad but I think Annabelle is pretty funny and sarcastic so depending on Taylor could be an interesting episode...

*Warning* not to get political up in here but I was just thinking how Taylor used to say "if your against gay marriage don't get gay married" and I know that used to upset/annoy people but hear me out. I was talking to a friend and her taxes went up as they do, and she reading the list and she said "$2000 for school! I don't have kids that go to school. I don't even have kids!" Which got me thinking with this whole republicans don't want to fund planned parenthood because they offer abortions even though tax dollars don't actually fund those (supposedly I'm not an expert). It made me think ok well Taylor logic would be to say "don't have an abortion" but then back to what my friend said she doesn't have kids why are her tax dollars funding public school?? It just seems nowadays people are suggesting we have more freedom towards what our tax dollars get spent on which I don't disagree with but at what point does the bleeding stop? It's a battle for everything! We can't agree on public or private school dollars, health care, and  many more! Should each citizen just get a check list of what rights they would like each year? Clean water, check! Protection for endangered species, check! Maternity care, nope! I don't know how long it takes but if you voted it's public record. So in a few days/weeks/months anyone can look up whether she voted or not. I tried looking up if she's even registered and it doesn't say. NY needs zip codes and there are a ton in NYC. I tried a few of lower manhattan but nothing... I'm sure someone else has a way to figure out quicker then me

All of these theme weeks got me thinking, after 11(?) ish years on the radio and with all the changes recently they should really do a fan appreciation week. I've only listened for about 4-5 years but I think many of you long time listeners would have some great ideas for this. Examples a combo of the fans and fan favorites: Hug Kiss!, Crystal Clear Christine, and all the other listeners that could write in potential topics to be chosen to be on air live or pre-recorded! Plus all the other non "fans" but usual Wake Up guests of the last 10 years, Sean Kilby, Sam Roberts, Stassi, maybe this Victoria person I hear so much about!, Dr Wider obvi!, pre record something with Patrick! I know him living in CA has been an issue on having him on recently but they pre record celeb interviews all the time!

Just from interacting with all you guys I know the fan base is diverse, 20,30,40,50+yrs old listen, singles, divorced, remarried! There is a broad range to tap into! I mean they had me on for a few minutes talking about my cancer journey and I'd love to hear about all your life journeys or whatever your passion is!

Maybe this is an better idea for when they fill the open co-host spot so everyone can catch up and reminisce in one week and get caught up but I think this could also work as a stand alone! Anyone else?
