Totally agree!  They are driving me bonkers today with their blind support of Taylor and her increasingly bad behavior.  The excuses they come up with to  justify her actions, its almost as bad as Trump supporters excusing his sexual assaults by claiming that women love powerful men or they liked the attention, etc.  There's literally nothing Taylor could do that would make her diehards question her; everything she does will be explained away by her having a hard day, being entitled to express her opinions, exaggerating, embellishing for fun, and all the other crap.  UGH.

She’s posting memes but nothing personal, which is a departure from the norm.  I suspect she will lay low for another month or so.  Im sure she’s trying to work on securing something in the meantime.

I think Taylor’s routine is something like this (note, I have no idea what time her show actually starts so I went with 7):

6:00 am: wake up, realize haven’t prepped for show, search google for hot topics, rush to studio.

7:00-9:00: host faux-radio show, tell random cohost my backstory (gay for the day, formerly rich, bro went to HARVARD, parents virgins), shoot the shit with my two fave sycophants, sign off.

9-12: manager drives me home, take a long nap to debrief after today.

12-4pm: cocktails with my tay (I’m gay!!!), scroll instagram to keep my finger on the pulse of cool, lunch (Shrimp cocktail, 0 weight watchers points!), watch E! To prep for tomorrow’s show.

4-8: too many martinis = midday power “nap” and prepping for tomorrow’s show with Bravo.  Casually scroll Instagram and text manager Matt (did you know he has a house in the hamptons?!) in between Vanderpumo Rules commercials.  Spend several hours on the dreadful pink pages.  Who do those bitches think they are?!  I rarely talk about my ex, who I call wusband, such a cute nickname!  His family sucks tho, let me tell you!

8-10pm: dinner with my tay (she’s gay, we have the same name! We ere besties for a week before falling in love!), With Sancerre.  It’s so good, did you know?! Then FaceTime with Babette (virgin when she got married!  My dad is an eye doctor who also does Botox, tots legit!!) and my amazing sister Paige who is getting married.. I’m the maid of honor but honestly that bitch better keep shit cheap because now that I’m *gay* and can’t rely on wusband to finance my bullshit I don’t have the cash to do an extravagant bachelorette party for her!  Who cares if I was a bridezilla, it was myyy wedding.  Also ask my Taylor when’s she’s going to upload Taste of Taylor.  Gotta stay hot in those iTunes streets!

11:00: snacks and more Sancerre.  Text my bff stassi to see if she’s has seen the latest summer house with my cameo.  Figure out when she’s going on wat

I’m also so annoyed that people on social media are 1) conflating conservative views with racism (what does it say about them that they think the two are one in the same?!) and 2) claiming the show was canceled because of their mom’s racist views.  I would almost guarantee that they were fired for THEIR tweets, not their mom’s persona because the latter would certainly land Oath in the middle of an employment lawsuit.  Also, they were (are?) employed by Oath and I’m not sure Oath has terminated them, just canceled their show.  Who knows if they were terminated by Oath....possibly, but they might have received severance (which I doubt).

Back to add that Claudia and Jackie have multiple anti-Muslim tweets out there... more 5an what the daily mail reported.  Just search the mentions for girlwithnojob and there are screenshots.

Those two are (rightfully) ruthless in their belief that any man accused of sexual misconduct should be outed publicly and blacklisted fro Hollywood, excuses or explanations be damned (and I generally agree with the sentiment), so i have no sympathy for people rightfully dragging them straight to hell.  I wonder if the morning breath will air timorrrow and what bullshit they will try to spew.  They can distance themselves from their mother but they can’t distance themselves from their numerous tweets.

Agree 100%.  She doesn’t DO anything to make me want to pay and listen to her talk about her life.  That’s why all of her stories were about her old life.  It seems like all she does nowadays is pitter patter around her studio and dream about being a mogul.  Get a life girl!

He’s answering the wrong “why”. I have no doubt it’s “expensive” to stream a live radio show everyday. But WHY did Taylor choose this route? Did she ask her loyal listeners what they wanted? Did everyone beg her for 10 live hours per week at any cost? Or would her loyal listeners have preferred a free “standard”  weekly podcast? Time will tell of course, but I think it’s clear this decision was 100% about Taylor. Maximum income, minimal work.

 
I think Taylor went the faux radio route because she wants real-time caller interaction.  However, even on Sirius the same 5-10 sycophants called in all the time and reiterated their same opinions.  It was stale.  With this much more limited audience it’ll be even more of a cesspool of halfbaked ideas and opinions.  I don’t think she’s thinking about how dry it will become with the same few people calling in all the time.

Also people on Facebook are praising the commercial free aspect, but really who wants to listen to ANYONE talk nonstop for two hours straight, much less repeating the same stories over and over and over.  Commercials are a nice break and natural segue to a new topic. 

I think Taylor’s biggest issue is that she doesn’t seem to have much of a life

I've been lurking since the show was cancelled but felt motivated to join after today's announcement. 

A subscription only "radio" show that can't be downloaded or streamed on an app (not a website) is a terrible idea.  Like others have said, podcasts are the future; radio is dying.  I am guessing that they went with the subscription only show because Taylor is desperate for money.  I listen to tons of podcasts; all are free, all have sponsors, and the hosts of probably 90% of them quit their 9 to 5s within a year of launching because revenue from the podcast became sufficient for them to live on.  However, it takes time to build up an audience and get bigger bucks for ads.  I think Taylor is too impatient and is looking for an easy way to make money.  I wouldn't be surprised if, after a few months of having a steady number of subscribers to justify bigger or more lucrative advertisers than a brand new podcast could garner, the show changes to a free podcast.  Basically, I think she's using the subscribers to cushion her through her business's growth period where she wouldn't otherwise be generating any money, and then she will have a sudden change of heart and make the show free for everyone.  I don't necessarily knock her for needing money immediately (I couldn't afford to work for free for months either) but it's short sighted if she really thinks this will work long term and if she wants to grow her audience and not alienate fans.  I also don't know how she'll leverage a subscription only "radio" website show into future TV hosting gigs...she's intentionally limiting her audience!  

This is purely speculation, but as a lawyer who does some employment work I'm curious about why she needs this money.  If anyone has a non-compete clause, they are getting paid something extra for agreeing to not work in their field for a specific period of time after the separate from employment.  It only makes sense: no one will voluntarily agree to not work for X m
