But cobra is very expensive, which I think is what I can't was getting at. Her overall pnl to operate a podcast vs working at Sirius or a company. I'm not sure but I think if TD has ins she can get coverage in nys under that. I'm not sure how that works though.

I hope she is setting aside some of that money for taxes. If not it could be why she feels she is immediately doing better.

I'm no longer into the show enough to subscribe. Perhaps years ago I would have. I think the weekly free best of is to lure new subscribers which she'll also bring advertising revenue from. I actually think if she's consistent and doesn't take off a lot and keeps up a social media presence it could work. $6.95 might be a little high sonciserinf Netflix is $10 but she'll figure that out quickly if so...

Maybe she's using semantics. She pays for the trip but then gets paid from everyone who attends. Maybe in her head the initial outlay is a way to justify saying it was not free even if in the end she's in the black.

Pretty much as long as the reason you are fired isn't due to discrimination on your employer's behalf.

I haven't slandered her. I haven't used profanity. I have asked for clarifying information. It is her supporters telling people to F off.
The actual phrase in the email I got is "Are you one of the people that have been exceptionally negative towards the getaway and towards Taylor on social media?"That is so unbelievably ridiculous. What is the purpose of that email? Can't they (Melissa Taylor?) just reply to the exceptionally negative people on social media?
Did you reply? That would be amazing/insane. Why o why would she think she can handle a reality show?

I don't care that she has an $1,800 grocery bag. What I care about is that she HADDDD to slip in the fact that she has two. I find Jenny McCarthy more relatable than Taylor these days. If you had that kind of money and bought those kinds of items there is no need to brag about having two.
Yes and yes! She bragged about it when married too. Brett used to get embarrassed. He didn't want her telling listeners she had a real Chanel for the longest bc she liked to brag.

Prob the goyard. She had a white and grey. They are in her posts. She's had them since marriage. You probably didn't even notice bc they are plain shoppers. They have a geometric print. But FYI depending on the size, her Chanel bag is way more. The flap bags start at 3 and I think are $5500 for the basic quilted leather jumbo flap. Spoils from marriage that if you were poor you would sell. She's not. She's just not run out an buy $1800 bag on a whim rich anymore regardless of if she does or not. I remember when she used to talk about shopping all day after work.
Edited to add that like the lv monogram print, the bags she is talking about aren't leather either. They are canvas.

TD probably pays a lot for health insurance whereas I imagine TS deducts pretax and Sirius pays a portion among other benefits. Ie vacation. If TD takes vacation she cannot earn money unless she incorporates that into it. Honestly aside from Howard and celebrities that have shows it's pretty well known radio personalities do not make a lot. I think of it more like actors in how skewed salary ranges could be, starving vs loaded. But then again one could do the stats it would be interesting to see if you take how much Howard brings in advertising $ and listener vs tay and equate that to their pay I bet you would find the numbers command he be paid more. While entertaining, people aren't typically joining Sirius for wake up. Ie more people subscribe to hbo for game of thrones than let's say insecure.
Either way the wage gap ts probably thinks about is comparing has td to Brett. Taking younger out of the equation in the past I doubt ts was making that much more than td. There's only so much that a radio host would get pd. But now more or less ts going from disposable income to primary.

Lileffer I think that time only comes once all your kids are in school ft so the youngest would be 5 or 6. I was a sahm for the first 3.5 yrs of my kids life. My husband was laid off and back to work I went but those 3.5 yrs were definitely harder than working albeit more rewarding. And my job is fairly challenging.

I'm a day behind or so. Listening to her and Claudia with the surprise topic of the day and she addressed radio in the city. Sounds like that's a no go for now at least. They hit a huge legal perhaps roadblock and it sounds like the producers caused issues with her and Nicole.

Sounds like she might have known once he was being investigated but I doubt she knew before or the specifics since she thought the result was remote. I doubt anyone doing something like this fully lays it out for their kids and kids spouses.

If you scroll back in her insta where she brags about her goyards it is a nj license in the wallet. I remember thinking she's bragging and yet so silly that she just admitted to NYC tax evasion she used to say they were renting to save money, well that's where it would save you. (Here in NYC you pay an additional 4.5% city tax off the top of your pay in addition to nys state and federal taxes). Albeit a much smaller scale but it's all relative. And yeah if she knew she could have refused to use any dirty money from the business in her life for trips, dinners etc. since we all know she refused to use her paycheck for bills other than her own shopping.

Anyone that listens to the show would know Taylor would be uncomfortable with answering that question and it sounds like they reworded it because it was written very vulgar. It's her show, she could have said forget it and moved on but she didn't.

Not stupid. I looked it up after it was mentioned here. You have to click on their profile pic if there's a ring of color around it. Catch is, they get the names of who viewed their story. They stay up for 24 hours.

Public schools have always been funded by everyone's tax dollars that's how it works. If your friend looks at her prior returns she will see she was always paying for it and that's not why her taxes went up. Even if you have kids and you pay for private school you are still taxed for public school.

If it were last straw maybe but I doubt she knew about it. Although it would explain the home going for sale. Honestly I think if she were still married and found out about it she would find ways to argue against the law as she normally does when it is to her benefit and how you should be allowed to compete in a free market and why can't you buy it cheaper from china without acknowledging the scheming behind it and price manipulation. She wouldn't want him to work elsewhere. Then he wouldn't make as much and afford that apartment and lifestyle she was attracted to. What they did was wrong, no doubt, but I think you're giving her more credit on this one. Maybe I'm giving too little. I also think it would be terrible to leave your husband for something his father did. I'm just happy it's not a choice I have to make.

Friday I doubt she has that strong a moral compass. Nothing she has ever done/said in the past would give that impression. A friend of mine went through something similar, albeit smaller scale, with one of their parents and even the other spouse had no clue until law stepped in.
