I thought they handed the Orlando shooting very well this morning. A lot of times Taylor plays the dumb girl, and jokes are made. I thought this morning was handled very respectfully, with some good conversation.

I've just started listening, but so far Taylor has said it's not a terrorist attack, so uh, that's ridiculous.

The way I understood her, she was saying it being a hate crime needs to be the first issue. It is for sure domestic terrorism, but this club was targeted because of the people in. This was a hate crime above anything else.

I think it's both equally, but this person attributed his attack to allegiance with ISIS, so yeah, that's terrorism.

Radical islamic terrorist hate gays. It's both a terror attack (isis has taken responsibility for him already) and a hate crime.

Regarding their discussion about the Orlando shooting (which I am so very sorry about)- For 2 people who said they saw the news yesterday and they 'are' claiming to know nothing (thank god), how can they sit there and say "Why are 'they' saying it was a terrorist act?' I'M NOT SAYING IT WAS. AT ALL. Here's my point. I was traveling this weekend too. I've only read maybe 4-5 news reports about it and watched ZERO on TV. But in all I've seen reports that have said law enforcement have confirmed reports that the shooter call. From AP News: "A law enforcement official said the gunman made a 911 call from the nightclub professing allegiance to the leader of the Islamic State, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. The law enforcement official is familiar with the investigation but was not authorized to discuss the matter publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity."
AGAIN...I'M NOT AGREEING OR DISAGREEING. I FEEL NOTHING BUT SADNESS FOR THE VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES! My point is 'how could they not know why this connection is being hypothesized??' That's all. It seemed like it was such a stretch for them...like those saying it were crazy. They might be but there was a reason.

Yesterday's show was the closest to the 'old T & K' that it's been in a long time. I was SERIOUSLY almost needing to pull my car over because I was laughing so hard!! I thought I might pee my pants at one point...then I KNOW the people in the cars next to me for sure thought I was crazy. But I was laughing so hard. It wasn't just the 69 talk...it was the whole show. They were back to great banter...just loved it.

I'm halfway through today (Wed) and things are fairly great again. Not as funny (tough topics about the little boy in Florida) but Taylor somehow seems like she was 6-7 years ago. Hard to describe...but 'lighter'? Funnier? She and Kenny are better with the back and forth. I know I'm holding my breath that it continues...I loved laughing with and at them again!!!

I always like these segments when she does them (I'm with the no white caller lol) but if it continues like yesterday and today I'll b so happy. Didn't hear all of today because either the Twitter link was static or my phone wire was malfunctioning. (Anyone else have issues w Twitter links last few days?) but what did hear was good 😀

Really enjoying just Katie & Taylor this morning. Katie asks her good questions, makes her think, and doesn't let her off the hook. No interest in Taylor Swifts love life, but thought a 7 things about 1 thing was fabulous!!! I think that could be better then 7 random news topics.

Enjoying Tay and Katie together as well. They have actual conversations, as opposed to a cohost that just says "yah" for 3 hours. It's been especially bad this week. I feel like it's literally been Tay monologuing the entire show with Kenny saying nothing more than yeah, yeah. He is so checked out. I feel like maybe he's out today interviewing for other jobs!

Ha! I thought the same thing about Kenny! Great refreshing show this morning with Katie and T. Makes me wonder if T shouldn't have a female cohost.....
