Taylors trolling 😅

Tays at the rhonj premier which is fun. I think her makeup was great!! The hair is nice too, it's a little less casual than she usually wears it. I even like the jacket (despite that her arms are out lol that's just not my pref) but the jumpsuit isn't my fav. On the legs it looks great, slimming. The bell bottom is ok, towing the kind a little but I think it's extremely unflattering on the top. Ultimately she still looks great but it made her boobs look saggy instead of lifted. If it weren't for that I would absolutely love it and think that she's dressing for her body well. Still like it though. Disclaimer: I'm not a fashionista 💁 Lol

7:40 or so till about 9, Robert is on and asked a lot of great questions....how she told her parents, how she identifies, living arrangements, etc. After that, another plastic surgeon and unless you're into that, really boring. The beginning was a weekend recap, Taylor on the red carpet (nothing exciting), Kenny talking about Duke at a baseball game this weekend was super cute!

Thanks. So worth listening to for the rv questions? Ill have to look for it on twitter. I dont have on demand.

Loving the RV segment and getting the background on Tay^2. The call/interaction with Kelly - hearing a little bit about Taylor's mind changing about intimacy and sex - fascinating.
The story about Duke & Kenny running the bases at Mets game was so sweet, though I'm sort of hoping Duke drinks the Black & Gold kool-aid.

Ugh, so many doctors...she really needs to chill with the plastic surgery thirst IMO.

I really hate the plastic surgery talk, esp after talking on and off for YEARS about how we should love our bodies. Just makes me think about all the things I should change about myself. Plus it's a total snoozefest.
Offline
I don't like the plastic surgery talk either. I wish they had another person on there to give a dissenting opinion on it. The fact is that it's surgery! It's a big deal and should really be a last result. Also the cat lady thing isn't just s thing of the past. People still get botched surgery all the time. Just look at celebrities and the housewives. And they can supposedly afford the best. I would be terrified to have surgery on my face 😳

Interesting when Kenny said something about if this relationship with T2 ends Taylor might go back to dating men and it shouldn't be a big deal. ( which is true) but then later asked her if she considered this as "coming out" and Taylor said no it's just me being honest about my life. Also true, but I got the feeling Kenny doesn't like the lesbian label for Taylor.

Yup, perfectly healthy people die every day due to surgical complications, infections, throwing a blood clot (Pulmonary embolism), it's really nothing to take lightly. And T looks good! I feel like her talking about needing/wanting plastic surgery when she looks like that probably makes a lot of listeners feel real shitty about themselves. I get everyone has insecurities, but goodness...appreciate your good genes ya know? I'm glad Kenny stuck to his guns in this topic.

Some of the stuff she wants to fix is stuff she can fix herself. Working out and eating healthy/in moderation can make some people actually feel better about themselves. Do something for yourself and stop being lazy. The complaining/wanting to change talk is okay sometimes but is boring now.

I am listening to today's show ondemand and omg Robert is driving me crazy!! Ugh I don't like him at all today

I can't stand the doctor that came in today. Total skeeze.

I thought today was one the best shows in a long time because of The Robert Verdi. I am glad Tay was open and had a sense of humor about such a personal topic. My ear was glued to the radio! I loved it.

I also wonder if Tay is seemingly working so much because, as she said, if they get married she'd like to be the breadwinner. Wow that is something I hadn't thought about.
I really don't know how she was able to conduct her radio life while keeping this in. She says it will be a year on 7/13. Imagine being so happy but keeping it in. Just wow.
It's interesting how she said her mom and dad asked, "Can't you two just be friends?" Interesting. I'm glad that they have been great though.

I wonder too though if that means he thinks it's a phase. It's interesting that she was asking him about what she was feeling all along. Kenny is really good to/for her.

Oh yeah I agree Kenny has been great to her during this whole divorce/ TD thing. Tay sounds really really happy, sure doesn't sound like a phase.

No it doesn't sound like a phase to me either. She sounds really sure.

was just thinking the same thing!! Is this just a paid advertising for him so Tay can get free lipo? and I hate how he keeps talking about "you can still get things done this summer! you still have time to pop in for have surgery!" he sounds like a used car salesman!! ugh

Um did Taylor not say earlier in the show that now that she is with TD, her body image issues have improved drastically. And then after the pointless dr segment, she's talking about how she sometimes wants to not attend weddings because she doesn't like how her body looks??

I really appreciate Robert asking the tough questions. But any one else think Taylor could be confused and rebelling a bit after her divorce? Having a label is real and confirms who you are. No different than my 2 year old knowing his gender. If you can't identify with a label, people will make assumptions. Labels help us communicate much more effectively than silence.

Part of me thinks she is rebelling and confused. It seems like she didn't give herself enough time after the divorce before getting into another relationship. I only say this because she is so reluctant to call herself gay. I understand we dont need to label everyone but it just seems like she wants the gay relationship but not the label.

im kind of with you on this one...although i have a friend who says the same stuff as Taylor - doesn't want to label himself and hooks up with men and women. he leans more toward men though, if he were to have a "real" relationship. who knows. hard for us to understand i suppose if we only identify with one label.

I agree. I redact my previous comments. I feel really bad being hard on Taylor.

I don't think she's rebelling. I never felt she was really in love with Brett.
I believe her when she says this is the first time she's been in love.
Considering how conservative her parents are I don't think she would go through
all of this if she was confused or just going through a phase.
I mean she waited a year to tell everyone (besides a few close friends) This is the real deal and I couldn't be happier for her

I agree. And if she doesn't feel the need (or is comfortable yet) to label, that's totally up to her. I can't imagine going through what she is, this has got to be the shakiest ground she has ever been on. Just glad she is happy, and able to have fun with it.
