First I wanna say I love Kenny and I do NOT want to se him leave wake up. I like the balance of Tays cray cray with is calm reasonable less cray. But, if he were to leave, I wonder what Sean Kilby is doing. He is into trivial pop culture and reality tv. I miss hearing his voice.

I have been wondering too. I keep checking his twitter. He and Taylor would be really good together. I miss him on Patrick's sports show.

Okay so I wasn't convinced Kenny was leaving until just now. Which makes me saaaaaad.
For anyone who hasn't listened -- Kenny is in Pittsburgh, which Taylor didn't explain until, Robert, who is her cohost today, asked where he was.
Anyway, Robert keeps getting off topic, as he does, and Taylor was like "You know this is kind of an important day for you. People are listening. You know what I'm saying?"
Sooo what I take from that conversation is that he is in the running to be her cohost. And then that also brings me to what someone on this thread had said about Kenny saying something to Dr. Wider eluding to the fact that she was trying out also...?
So I wonder if that's why Taylor spent so much time talking about Kelly Ripa and Michael.

Whoa. I haven't listened to today's but that definitely makes me think he's leaving. Huh. I wonder if I'll still listen.

I THOUGHT THE SAME THING! And I was super skeptical about the theory but Taylor's comment about people listening really made me wonder....
I love Robert but he is SUPER ADD and not really reliable at coming into work on time. I don't know that he could commit to arriving at Sirius on time every morning.

I wonder if Robert would calm down a little when it's not just once a week. He would have more time to get all of his thoughts out. I especially love him when they talk about semi-serious things. He seems pretty insightful and has a different perspective that usually makes me think...

Oh, no, no, no. Robert's fine in very small doses but the two of them together every day? 😜

That's a good point, On_Point! I'm biding time on the deck with coffee waiting for the OnDemand to come up and I can start cleaning 😂

Today DEFINITELY confirmed it. wahhhh

I haven't had a chance to listen today, but if you guys are right I don't think I would listen as much anymore. Robert is really funny, but 1 hour a week is enough for me. The show would definitely change without Kenny............boo

I bet Robert would just be a fill in until they named a new host. He's way to busy to do a show every day.

I LOVE RV!! I know he's a spaz, but I agree with OnPoint. I think he wouldn't feel the need to be so over the top if he was on daily. He was so tricking funny this am.

I love Robert in small doses too, same with Wider. Sean would be great and I'm super thankful that Greg Johnson has already been fired from Sirius so it could not be him. He's the worst, so annoying.

I think that Robert does a great job of interviewing. He doesn't shy away from asking personal questions and I LOVE that! We find out way more info when he is on because he asks what we all want to know.

I am also on the Kenny leaving band wagon. Did anyone catch the 'Kenny Checks his Voicemail' vignette of him impersonating Tay, talking about kelly rippa and michael and if he ever did that to her etc etc. It's hilarious but I feel like they are making light of him possibly leaving the show.
We were correct about Tay and TD. So I am confident we are probably right about this. As much as I'll miss him.

We seem to be right on here. What's our evidence so far??

I'm hoping the "Tay took it well" text was maybe just Kenny telling T that he was taking some time off. I seriously do not believe Tay would take it well if Kenny told her he was leaving the show. I believe she would have an epic melt down.

My first choice would be Sean. I would like Robert also. The only problem I would have with Dr. Wider is she's too agreeable with Taylor. She's not confident enough to stand up to her. That would get on my nerves. I want somebody who is going to challenge T and not let her get away with BS.

Do you think he would still do that though if he was actually employed by the show? He'd have to change his tune a little I think.

i just wonder what kenny would do in Pittsburgh? maybe he landed a spot at a local radio show?

That would be great for him if he did!
But sad for us.

Maybe Kenny got his own show? Both Jenny's have home studios.
I can't imagine Dr Wider leaving a practice to co host a pop show?
Offline
I'm fairly certain his family is moving to pittsburgh. I wonder if he will try to do the show from there for awhile?

Robert v would be my number one choice. I freaking love him. Sean is kind of eh. He's too hip for me. I love wider but I agree she's a little too agreeable with Taylor. A funny gay guy would be perfect for the show because of the topics.

She doesn't really "practice" medicine. She is more of a "media" doctor (my words not hers). She mentioned this not too long ago. I cannot remember how long it has been since she actually practiced medicine. It isn't even mentioned on her website.

Maybe Kenny isn't going for his own show or podcast or comedy career but going in a totally direction with that chicken place he "dreams" of opening with his brother in law? He went through a phase a couple months ago where he was talking about it really passionately. Hmm.
