I'm listening a couple days behind and just heard her interview with Travis Kelce- does anyone else think it's odd how much she's been swooning over the hot guys she's interviewed recently? I think making a quick comment like "he was a cutie!" or something would be fine, especially since listeners can't see what's going on, but the degree to which she goes on about them seems a little disrespectful to TD. And I know she isn't labeling herself, but if she's really into girls, or even just as smitten with TD as she says she is, it seems super weird to me that she's feeling this level of attraction toward men right now.
I was half listening, but I wondered if Tay had to be flirty and "swoon" over him because he was so boring and hard to interview. She knew she's get some sort of reaction from him if she threw herself at him to a degree. I also couldn't hear him well, the mic levels were off and his low voice didn't help.
What I'm talking about is actually after he left and she was talking to Katie. I would totally agree with what you're saying if she did it during the interview- sometimes you have to put on an act to get the job done. But there have been several guys she's interviewed lately and gushed about how hot/rich they were afterward. Just seems disrespectful to TD and adds a hint of disingenuousness to her current relationship- which would be true even if she were dating a guy.

I hate to say it, but I'm pretty sure if any rich guy made a play for T, she'd dump TD in a skinny minute...or maybe keep her around for bed fun. T wants to be a kept woman and there's no amount of love or chemistry that will overcome it...especially as you age. I hope they can keep the butterflies going, but I doubt it.

Totally agree DB. It was really over the top, and what I took from it is that she is attracted to men, period end of story. If it doesn't work out with TD, I have no doubt that she'll be back to dating men.

And on a semi-related note, I feel like it's a tiny bit hypocritical when she bashes Steph for making out with a couple of guests when Taylor would always talk about the time a celeb (Chris Hemsworth?) wanted her number and was annoyed that the talent manager or whoever didn't give it to him. I know it's a slightly different situation, but I think now that she isn't married if a male celeb showed an interest in dating Taylor she would have a really hard time turning it down.
I feel like her comment about Travis' $46M contract was very telling about her motives.

Let's also not forget Tay's tendency to glom onto people's lives. She was spending time practically 24/7 with TD throughout her seperation and divorce. She was getting attention and affection from TD and the D fam. OF COURSE she's dating her now.
Tay did a periscope around/on Halloween about how she was worried about finding a man with her ugly costume. Ummm, according to her WH article and on air stories chronicalling her romance with TD, why was this a concern at this point? Just for keeping up her straight life persona?! No way. Seems like if a good looking guy with a deep enough wallet had showed her ANY interest, she'd be dating him.

Ahh yes. I agree that she went a little overboard with those comments. Do you think it could be a little bit of her wanting to make it known that even though she's dating a woman, she doesn't want to be labeled or put in the lesbian box, and so if something were to happen with her and TD, she could go back to men and not get as much grief? Probably trying to justify something that she isn't even aware of.

Listening now. Taylor is talking about a coworker who made out with the guys they would have on to interview. Their boss had to tell her to stop. I think it is Steph.
It was Steph (as many have already pointed out) but don't you love how it's gone from her making out with ONE guy from FL/GA Line to "a co-worker who made out with ALL of the guys we interviewed"????
Does she think no one has heard the stories before?
I'm late to respond to last week's episodes & conversation because I was traveling for work the last half of last week BUT I wanted to add (and not sure if someone already said this) that Steph made out with one of the Pentatonix and it REALLY pissed off Taylor because now they won't come back for an interview.
I don't think Taylor really cared about FL/GA Line because she's not into country, but she loved the Pentatonix as you guys know.

I feel like she's referred to herself as lesbian or gay a few times lately, and talked about coming out to people. Just little comments here and there on the air and on periscope. Give her a break on that - it has to be incredibly hard to tell everyone about this kind of change in her life.

Especially with the prospect of a reality show looming, Taylor needs to realize that perception is reality. She gets upset sometimes at the opinions/speculation on board, the Radar quotes being taken out of context, etc. and always says "you guys only see a very small part of my life, so you don't really know what's going on." She's absolutely right, and needs to be very careful about what she says and how she presents herself to the audience because that IS all we see, and all we have to form opinions on.

I think she liked that TD is a great person and accepted Taylor for who she is, also probably helps that she didn't know Taylor pre-Brett. But I also am in Camp JustaPhase. She was obsessed about OITNB for s long time, she was feeling bad about herself and here comes this really talented and sweet, beautiful girl that doesn't compete for male attention because she's a lesbian. How could she not love her? But is this real love? Time will tell. I was listening this weekend and I also got the creeps from the way she was swooning over guests. For a moment I was thinking maybe Cosmo was going to have a channel again, which would be amazing, but that level of excitement was way beyond... Taylor wants everything, all the attention for all the things. I respect that she didn't blab about her relationship for a good year, but I suspect that the more she realizes she's giving up male attention, the less she's going to like being in a committed relationship with TD. All speculation on my part, for sure, so take that however you want.

Yes. I have a friend like this, she just absorbs the life of whoever she is dating at the time.
I think TD with get over Tay first though

I dunno ladies. I'm all for a good conspiracy theory, but, I don't think it's just a phase. I've never heard her speak about sex and anything that goes with it, in a way that a woman who is into penis talks about it. There was always a layer of disgust with it. I mean, she was on fucking COSMO RADIO and she wouldn't even discuss blowies (A girl like this? On cosmo? No blowies?? (ah, the good ol days)) I think she has always been gay and never realized it because A. she is catholic and her parents were virgins and B. because she's beyond a shadow of a doubt loved people, lusted even, but has never been in love, so she didn't really know any different.
And why resist so hard to change her last name, make spending time with his family a priority (I know she has bashed them ad nauseam, but there were members that she got along with, that wasn't enough to work with? Really?) calling herself a feminist all this time...I think these were little flags that she just wasn't ready to face were her truth.

Totally agree! A lot of things may be phases, changing your sexuality isn't. To me its almost offensive, like my Grandmother telling my gay cousin he just hadn't met the right girl yet.

Lot's of people experiment with their sexuality - it's not changing it, it's just being fluid with different people at different times. The thing that offends me is the listeners wanting T to become a LGTBQ spokesperson because she's in one relationship with a woman. Let's give it some time, folks.

^^^ yes. She has only been out a year. And even that was kept quiet until now.

Nope. Its usually just starting when I get in the car and I'm not even listening to see if its a fun guest on. I would like to find a similar show if anyone has suggestions? Like Opies morning show, but it's not an every day thing. We listen to Hits at work most of the day, so its really just repeat stuff if I listen to them first thing.
ETA ~ Has anyone listened to this?
In With Aniston : 7:00 am – 8:00 am (1 hr)Brandy represents the Gen-X/Millennial POV on the world of sex. We’re not sure what that means, but it probably involves hashtags and swipes.
Nevermind, looks like I don't get it and its maybe an adult entertainment channel lol

I think it's unfair for anyone to try to shoulder her with the responsibility of being the face of the LGBTQ....I think her living her life happily and freely should be enough..... Oftentimes IMO the general public gets obsessed with the idea of putting a person with a fanbase in a box and expect them uphold every aspect of said box......
On the flip side I also don't think it's ok for her to exploit her relationship to gain viewers or a tv show.... Because I feel like Tay is so transparent, and she's talked ad nauseam about fake, celeb, contractual relationships....the conspiracy part of me wonders if she's extra into the idea of dating a female (note: I'm not calling her relationship fake but saying she has extra motive to continue this) because it makes her unique in her quest to become a bravolebrity

Good points, SoftPrezels. It disgusts me to think that there's a possibility of her being in this relationship because it's so "trendy" right now - ugh! I'm REALLY hoping that's not the case and giving T the benefit of the doubt. This is not something to fool around with.
Most gay folks have to deal with a lot of shit their whole lives, it's not a game.

The closest replacement I have found is jenny mccarthy. I am always laughing at that show! It is great! Also, don't make fun of me but I love Jen Fulwiler's show on the Catholic channel. I'm not super religious but I find her so relatable and funny. She is so not a typical judgemental catholic (she was after all atheist before coverting). If you ever want something more tame that can give some really good insight I highly recommend her.

Assuming her language is ok? I LOVE JM, but have to save her for the car or home. WUWT I can get away with at work cause it usually just the odd swear word and no really sex talk. I need something like that, but engaging for my mornings catching up on paperwork, but still kinda PC incase a client calls it comes in.

Yeah JM is definitely not language-appropriate for work! I can only listen to her with headphones.

I like listening to BFF Fridays on Jenny's show
I hate hate hate how Michelle and Jenny gang up on David. It's literally not funny after the first couple comments, and I get annoyed and turn it off
Celebrity Dirt is PAINFUL to listen to. Jenny butchers names and relationships between people. She is not a pop culture guru as she professes to be.
I do enjoy listening to all the specialists she has on and interviews
Offline
I think David likes it lol
Did anyone listen the other day when he was changing the radio title about Michelle giving up? People were tweeting Jenny about it....too funny!

David laughs when they make fun of him. I think it's schtick. They like him and don't really mean it. Bff Friday's is so funny. I'm still trying to learn the dynamics of the three friends.
