In his periscope, Kenny said that he doesn't own the song. I guess Sirius does. Defiitely not cool though.

I don't agree with with Siggy, saying its okay to be with you significant other and ignore your friends. If this relationship fails she won't have anyone. You have to nurture relationships. I'm mean you can't go to dinner with your friends? PLEASE! She speaks of her friends like they all mean girls but, she doesn't give two shits about them.

On a complete side note- I randomly stumbled on Yasu's IG (@wakeupwithyasu) the other day (I think he commented on one of Taylor's pics). I wanted to put a face with the famous "Yasu" name so I followed him, and his posts are (unintentionally I think) hilarious. He's private, but he accepted me.

Yasu if you read this, no shade, I think you're seriously awesome and wish you could call into the show somehow!

Hahaha I'm so glad I'm not the only one that appreciates the Yasu humor. He might be the biggest WU superfan- almost all of his posts reference the show. We may need to start a "Best of Yasu" thread.

Do you guys remember when Yasu make his introduction with letters that he sent to the show, that they read on the air. They were hilarious-he apparently was learning/improving his english by listening to the show. Tay, Kenny and I can't remember if Victoria was still there, thought the letters were fake, until they finally met him for real!

Ok, so I was on my way to work earlier when she was teasing the Brendan Dassey "interview". It really gave me an icky feeling...like why are we making fun of mentally challenged people again? She's almost reached Trump status in grossness for me, it made me feel the same as when he was mocking that disabled reporter.... I was kind of glad she blew the bit by not knowing how to run the board. Unfortunately just heard it, not even funny. If you're going to stoop to the level of mocking a person with the mind of a child, at least make sure it's worth making yourself look like a complete douche...

Well. I think I finally broke the addiction to listening to this show. I haven't been listening for the last two weeks (replays then Housewives, no thanks). I turned it on this morning, and literally listened for 5 minutes and turned it off. Everything coming out of Taylor's mouth annoyed me so. So. I think that's it.

I stil check this board regularly because I'm interested in where all this is going to go- but I think I'm officially over listening every day. And I think I'm okay with that.

However, I don't really find Taylor funny anymore and even when she's mildly entertaining, it's not enough to hold my interest for more than like 5 minutes. I mean, another doctor! And wtf was with the 10min Spanish for Dummies segment? Why??

Me too! I feel bad because I've been a long time listener and for the last two weeks I haven't listened at all. I haven't even open my Sirius app. It sucks. I miss it but it's just not appealing. Kenny said to give it a chance but I just can't. A week of housewives...their voices alone would make my ears bleed. Instead I've been the last couple of weeks discovering podcasts. I also love the My Favoritie Murder podcast!! I'll still come on here just out of curiosity but it's so weird. A show that was a big part of my life for years died and I have no interest in Taylor anymore. She's not very funny.

Since the split from Cosmo and now Kenny's departure, it seems like the show is really adrift with no clear brand/direction. The content is just SO all over the place- doctors/dentists, chefs/bar tenders, psychics, interviews with celebs/authors/musicians, a "happiness guru", housewives, random ignorant political tangents, discussion of T Swift/Kardashians ad nauseum, Taylor telling the same stories about herself, pop culture news...like WTF?

Variety is good, but there needs to be some sense of continuity that runs through everything. It feels like they're throwing anything and everything at the wall just to see what sticks. At 10 years in they should have a better grasp on their audience and brand/message. I mean good grief- Taylor's brand is "uplifting women" and insisting she's a feminist, but she won't shut up about losing weight and wanting plastic surgery, doesn't get much more contradictory than that.

I think a fun and natural direction for the show to go in would be to get another female co-host and have the premise be a "people's court" sort of thing for relationships (not necessarily romantic). Base it off of the nuts or not/oh no she didn't/almost hitched bitch segments. Have people call/email their situations and Tay/co-host can debate and listeners can call and give their two cents.

They could still bring in a little pop-culture stuff because they could debate the celeb feuds/reality TV drama, and they could have housewives on sometimes as guests because they are constantly dealing with these issues. I could even see how Karen could be relevant once in a while, coaching people how to have happy relationships or whatever.

You're not alone. I was out months ago. The show has a lot of potential but it's run poorly - all of these "experts" and guest hosts can't fix the problem that the main host is not compelling enough to listen to every day. Although I think she's got a fun personality and can be quite entertaining at times, she doesn't have enough depth to carry off a daily 3 hour show. It's not totally all her fault but I just plain don't want to listen anymore.

It's still fun to read these boards though!

The show is done and will be done soon. It's not gonna last. I didn't listen all last week either nor did I catch up on demand. I am listening today but am forwarding through. Mark my words, wakeup with Taylor will be no more in 2017. Sorry.

I'm done too. I originally started listening 7 or 8 years ago because I loved taylor and kenny together and how Taylor let us into her life so much. I found her so relatable for some reason back then. Now obviously kenny is gone and Taylor alone just doesn't do it for me. I think the big turnoff for me is how Taylor seems so focused on "killing it" in "the business." I'm all for ambition, but this side of Taylor is so gross to me. It feels like everything she does now is just to attract publicity and move on from this shown that I once loved so dearly. I havent really listened in weeks and I dont think I ever will again.

I just listened to her "interview" of Brendan Dassey of Making a Murderer. OMG!!! That was terrible. I'm so upset, how can anyone let her play that on the radio. That was so terrible and insensitive. I can't believe she did that!!! That has really turned me off from her. I can't believe she did that.

i just listened to this. I can not believe she actually played this and no one thought to stop her. I'm so disappointed in her!! I'm furious!! I can't believe she stooped to this level. This is not comedy - you're just being an asshole and a total mean girl!

I'm a huge fan of this show too, have been listening almost 5 yrs. I don't get it!!!????!!!! why change it all up when it was working. And I don't get why they need any doctor other then Wider. WTF? If she isn't going to have a cohost that we know well, then at least make the show more interesting. Its losing its edge.

Yikes, this is the same for me. The only show I've attempted to listen to since Kenny's last was when HW Carole was co-hosting (I don't know why her specifically, I'm not even a fan), and it was bruuuutal. Haven't listened since and don't really plan to unless I see something that piques my interest from posts on this board :-/

I've been listening to Jenny McC in the meantime, and that show is just so well done, I think it would be really hard to go back and listen to the total shit show that WUWT has (sadly) become.

I ran across this article the other day, it's pretty good. I know a lot of us have been wondering about the behind the scenes/business side at Sirius and this is pretty enlightening. As Kenny said on his Periscope, sounds like they treat all the talent, including Howard, like dirt.

I get comedy sometimes need to be over the top but that was just fucking cruel. Kenny never went that far. She has been in radio for 10+ years and has been a living breathing human for 30+. She should of known better.....

YUP!!! my thoughts exactly. and if she doesn't know better or use her head...then someone should have stopped her. Even Robert sounded uncomfortable. Doesn't she have a fabulous producer?

Taylor did a fake interview with brendan dassey. I just listened. It was so cringe worthy. Basically she mocked him and asked him a bunch of "questions" and she used audio of him saying "I don't know..." as response to every question. Ugh.
