Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Is it just me or does Lori B seem a little boring...especially after Clay and Rob (missing him!)??

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

I like both Clay  and LoriB. I thought the last 2 days were really good. the show is getting better again and they gave Wider more time which I like.  She's gettin her groove back, our little TayTay!

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

I love Clay too! The first time he was on I almost shut it off because I've never been into American Idol and figured he was kind of a numnum, but he's fantastic!

I might be from the Sunshine State, but I can still be a little shady.🌴

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

I don't mind Lori, but she hasn't been a favourite of mine. And I think I prefer the male/female dynamic, that we became accustomed to after so many years with Taylor and Kenny.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Me too!! My dream would be rotating Clay and Rob (who said he'd be there tomorrow...😉). I like the male/female dynamic as well.

And because I'm not used to being so positive all the time...(and I'm a lover of the BBT) I just wanted to punch Taylor in the face yesterday for literally throwing every person who watches that show under the bus. Not cool.

She may have just been bashing it because it was Stephanie's fave show and Taylor has some resentments towards her.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

I wanted to punch Tay in the face this morning when she was all excited about the wrestlers coming in because she LOVES them and they are like her favorite ever. Give me a fucking break. I'm tired of Taylor being so damn fake about how much she loves every single guest.

And, since I haven't logged on in awhile, let me also just bitch about how Tay bitches about us getting mad when she talks politics. How does she not even realize it's because she is so uneducated and flip-floppy and constantly contradicts herself?? Ugh. I can't with her.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

What is Taylors deal with the Big Bang theory?? She's been talking about this for years. It's such a great show.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Well it sounds like she hates it because Steph loved it. But you can bet your ass if Stassi or T2 liked it, she'd be all over it.

Sigh...another day, another show about body shaming. T. is boycotting Victoria's Secret Show. Again. What if Ubah was the one chosen to wear the bazillion dollar bra/undies and lead the parade? I don't watch the show but I don't really care about who does or doesn't. It doesn't cause a major reaction in me nor do the pageants, which I do like to watch.

This is her annual complaint. If you go back last year or the year before she states the exact same issue the exact same way......

This should go in the "things I never want to hear again" thread lol

I'm behind listening on demand, but Tay said Patrick is going to be on the show!

Save the outrage for advertising using skimpily clad women to sell hamburgers, car parts and web services.  They're selling bras, for god's sake.  Who are they supposed to feature?  It's low-hanging fruit to talk about this again and requires little thought or introspection.

Topics requiring little thought or introspection....girl you are spot on, this is Taylor's MO. I see I haven't been missing anything....

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

I adoreeee clay on the show! I NEVER would have thought but he is hysterical! I love Rob as well and Lori too but Clay is definitely my #1!!! I love the dynamic of a guy in the mix.  I almost wish they could get Sam on the show but obviously he is busy with his own show - I do love them together as well -- does anyone know how to listen to Sam's show btw? I haven't been able to find it!

I also wish they would do an entire hour with Dr. Wider! I LOVE her! It's never enough time!

I was SO EXCITED to hear Patrick on the show but it sounds like he overslept Such a tease!!!!

On a separate note, is anyone going to watch the Kenny/Dr wider thing tonight?!

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

sorry new to this and not sure how to start a new thread.
Love Clay also! But wondering if anyone is on with Kenny and Wider right now?

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Observation: Why is it when callers agree with Taylor (today it's about her viewpoint on pregnancy and birth...earlier in the week it was body shaming and the election) her response is always, "Thank you for being honest?"

lol good observation- I never thought about it before but you're right. I think it's because Taylor is convinced everyone who doesn't share her view on something is just lying to make themselves look better (ex. She thought women who said they loved sex were lying). This pretty much confirms to me that Taylor is super fake because she's projecting how she operates (jumping on the bandwagon/pretending to like whatever her new friends or SO like).

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Agree completely with the "being honest" thing. I am OBSESSED with my baby and legitimately never had a moment where I had depression or anything. I said on another thread awhile ago (about the psychics) that I lost my mom a few years ago and I put off having a baby for YEARS after, worried I wouldn't be able to truly enjoy the experience or would suffer from depression. I was finally ready to try to get pregnant and I savored every moment of those 9 months and had a really healthy pregnancy. My little guy is now 10 months old and such a gift. I know not all pregnancies or babies are easy - I have plenty of friends who dealt with colic or day/night confusion among a million other things. I know I got lucky in a lot of ways and I don't take it for granted at all. Just saying not everyone has a bad experience and not everyone has a good experience. It really bothers me that if she can't see your point of view you must be a liar.

If you had shared that yesterday, you certainly would NOT had received the response, "Thank YOU for being HONEST!!!" for sure!!!

However, I'm very excited for you that you are having such a wonderful experience! Enjoy it all...I can tell you from experience, before you know it, they grow up and have kids of their own and you are looking back wondering where the time went. Loving every minute then and now...❤️

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Some thoughts after listening to Stassi's podcast:
1) I think Stassi was totally annoyed and embarrassed with how T was acting.
2) T sounded so bitchy, lame, and desperate to be relevant.
3) There are cracks in T-squared...could she have brought up going back to men more times in one hour???

Well it looks like Carly (sp?) is the new cohost.

Is Carly the new cohost? does that mean no more rotating cohosts? I think it's better to have 1 person rather than a bunch of regulars.

Haven't started listening yet...was it an official announcement?? I'm kind of sad (although she was one of the better women they've had with T). I loved Clay Aiken and Rob Schutter. Bittersweet, I guess. Whomp whomp. Could have been worse, I guess!

Yes there was an official announcement at 8. I agree that out of the women she was towards the top. I still prefer the male/female dynamic though. Oh well. It's not a deal breaker for me and I've actually enjoyed the show more lately.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Wasn't there a comment made last week when Rob was in about him being around a lot more and an announcement regarding him?

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

I don't remember the comment but maybe they will have two cohosts alternating? Or a regular appearance by Rob?
