Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

100% the family who booked unless (and this has happened to me), the airline changed seats day-of. I've had my seats completely reassigned with no notice for no known reason. If they did that and I was flying with my kids and suddenly we were separate I'd be pissed. It's not like I love flying with children either (my own I mean) but I certainly couldn't control any of their behavior if they weren't in the same row as me.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Taylor has no new material. I've been listening and it's all the same crap. Same old Taylor who does nothing new who tries nothing new. Another thing I hate is that she has the worst taste in tv shows and movies. But that's just me. I don't like any of her recommendations.

Speaking of flying, let me know what you ladies think about this one. I flew from NYC to LA this weekend (and before we got on the flight we were told instead of flying direct we'd have to make a refueling stop due to bad weather. So our 6.5 hour flight would become 9 hours and we wouldn't be able to get off the plane). The woman in the row behind me booked herself and her  4 kids (I'm terrible at age, but maybe 8, 6, 3, 2) with all middle seats, and we had to shuffle around everyone's seats to get the family all together. I wasn't personally affected (other than witnessing this), but one guy was pretty pissed he was asked to move from the aisle and be put in a middle seat to accomodate the family (several people were moved from aisles or windows and into middle seats). It was unfortunate all around, especially given we were on a plane for 9 hours and not able to get off during refueling. Who was in the wrong here?

The family who booked the flight. They should of requested seats together.

Agreed- I book early so I can be sure to get a window seat. The parents need to learn to book early to accommodate their family. If they can't do that for some reason, I think the flight attendant should ask for volunteers to move, but shouldn't force anyone.

Families flying can't have it both ways- get offended when asked to move because your child is misbehaving and bothering other passengers, but expect other passengers to move to accommodate you and your child. I agree that Taylor's rant was super bratty, but just as people need to be understanding about children traveling, the parents need to be understanding of people around them and do everything they can to make it a pleasant experience for everyone.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

If you're flying on your own though (the couple asking another couple to switch is so rude!) How do you say no? I always book ahead so I have a window (I take drugs and don't pee, so I don't want to be bothered), but I think I would have a hard time staying no.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

lol I flat out just said "no sorry" to switching with them. I wasn't a bitch or anything but I'm getting older and I'm figuring out it doesn't pay to be "nice" and put yourself out. Esp for something like that.

If it was for a kid maybe I would switch but not if I was with my husband. My husband is a big jock (not fat just tall and broad) so I'm his buffer, he always get the window and I get the middle so he doesn't disrupt any middle person by man spreading out. And I cuddle up to him so it's fine. So yea prob still wouldn't switch for anyone.

So I haven't listened to the show in a long time.... I can't even remember the last time. Anyway, I was on snapchat and saw that Stassi was in the studio, so I turned it on from on demand. I'm less than an hour in and it's an instant reminder of why I don't listen anymore. Taylor is telling a story about an elementary school friendship falling apart. Spoiler alert: We've all heard it a million times. Seriously!? How does she still hold on to such old grudges? I mean, in all fairness, this segment was about ex friends, but seriously... Get some new material. Holy fuck.

Same, girl!  30+ year old women should have some other life experiences to talk about, no?  I thought high school boyfriend stories were bad.  ELEMENTARY school???

The show will be cancelled.

I miss dr. Jenn. She's the only reason I listened to Sirius in the first place.

My life will be complete if Mike Cannon becomes a new regular. I think if Taylor has any say, it might be him-you can tell she loves hosting with him.

Today Taylor said once she had her teeth bleached and she walked outside and a gust of wind hit her and she fell to her knees because of the pain. Am I crazy or was this a story that kenny told a few times about a friend of his?

She's told this story for years. I think it was for her wedding.

I can't emphasize how important airline seat assignments are for families with young children. How do you know this mom did not book her tickets a week before and all that was left were middle seats? No one wants to be seated next to someone's child without a parent there. Imagine all the possible risk factors. There are regulations I'm place  to assist those under 5 or kids with special needs. Moral of the story...fly Southwest whenever possible!

I think that would be a great lineup. I like the different hosts , they each have something differnt to add to the show.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Listening to Tay read a British article where they talk about "dressing gowns" is so frustrating. They mean robes Taylor, not night gowns! I think it's pretty obvious when they say women tie them right over left, and men the reverse(or whatever).

Anyone notice the show ending abruptly yesterday? I just listened on demand and taylor says "more to come" and then the show ends. So weird.

Was yesterday live or a replay? I haven't listened but I assumed yesterday was a replay because it was MLK day and they would be off.
