Tired of being the "quiet one" in every room

Hey. I’ve always been super shy, and it’s honestly exhausting. In meetings or even at lunch with friends, I just sit there nodding because I’m too scared to speak up. I want to be more confident, but I’m not ready for anything public or intense. I just need something low-key and private that I can do on my own time. Has anyone found a way to work on this without it feeling like a huge deal?

Re: Tired of being the "quiet one" in every room

Hello. I used to feel like a ghost in social situations too. For me, the trick was doing something tiny every day so it didn't feel so scary. I actually decided to try a more structured approach after I saw a riseguide review on Reddit. Someone there explained how they used it to slowly get used to speaking up in a very chill, private way. You should find that thread; it’s a really honest take from someone who also hates being the center of attention!
