But don't women say the same? That before you meet your husband it's just a bunch of losers and bad choices? Or the saying you have to kiss a lot of frogs to get your prince? While worded much nicer, its the same ideology so I think if women can have that attitude it's only fair that a man can too.

I understand that. I'm not basing it only on the hate. I'm basing it also on many past detailed comments. I don't know the E family. Have seen a couple of them out on occasion and have some mutual acquaintances. I've heard some stories similar to ones T has told from other people that have also been on the receiving end of things. I have had the "pleasure" of being in the same environment as some of the other players she references. One in particular is pretty awful. T of course exaggerates a bit but I think it's all based on truth.  Not to say she's completely innocent, either. She's not. However, a lot of it is lifestyle. If you come from their walk of life then you'd probably do fine. If you are what they deem as beneath them socioeconomicly, which most of us probably are, that's where the attitudes change.

T certainly has her own issues and tons of growing up to do but she likely won't change.

I agree. I think the trip is absurd but some people may find value in what Carin has to offer. Carin has been coming on the show long before all these paid extras started. I don't really find them that strange. Overpriced? Yes. Very.  Useless (for me)? Yes. But I don't think they are that out of place as the next step to take things outside the show limits.  I also think the pricing and pushing to do it is a lot more Carin than Taylor. Taylor seems to half heartedly promote them after the first one flopped. Carin is the one with all the enthusiasm commenting all over social media for everyone to come.

I understand it's healthy to critique the show and not paint everything rosy, but if I didn't know better I'd suspect WeddingBitch is someone from Taylor's former life. Despite any protesting. The hate and disgust is just on a whole other level.

I agree that 99% of the users here are not trolls. There's one or two that I've really questioned but for the most part, no, not trolls. But I do think they did say two things in their conversation about this site that were dead on.

1) Kenny mentioned the word authoritative.  I agree with that. Some of the posts here do come off as extremely authoritative. Kind of like "we are the listeners. We know best. Change your show". And this site does NOT represent the majority of the listeners. This is a very small pocket and that's important to remember. It doesn't mean your opinions aren't valid, but it also doesn't mean they're going to just conform to everything that's suggested here. It's still their show. They have to put out a show they want to do. 

2) Taylor mentioned that this forum is primarily negative. And I know people struggle with that notion, but it is!  Sure, much of it can be seen as constructive criticism, but constructive criticism is supposed to be mixed in with positive things as well. There's not often discussion here about show topics. Or even OT stuff. Occasionally, but they never last long. The threads that keep going are the negative ones. Many times people pop on to complain. It's not often someone comes on to say "wow, I loved xyz today". Yes, it happens on occasion. But it's not the norm. And just like Taylor said, that is not a forum. A forum is a place for open discussion. Good and bad. And just like people complain that the Facebook page is all positivity and you get jumped on for being negative, it's true that this place is the opposite. I've been jumped on several times for trying to be positive. I was even told once that my mindset was not widely accepted around here and that I should stick to facebook. I don't believe everything needs to be positive. I roll my eyes at Taylor PLENTY. I've said negative things here, too. But there's no balance. The show still has yet to find a place that truly is a "forum" for everyone. If you ever loo

^#3 because they're all kind of true. It just depends how she spins it. She was at a bar, with Nicole who already had her reception job. And it wasn't an actual Sirius function, but people Nicole worked with were there. Taylor probably would never have been at the bar, with that crowd of people, if Nicole had not already had the job. Then she still had to go audition. They didn't just automatically give her the job. And of course Nicole was trying to work her way up so she was auditioning for things, too.

The more I read this the more I think I know who it may be. And I'm not impressed. Domain data is public. Looks like she chose to be unlisted but she's had the wake up domain since 2010 and she renews it every year as recently as this past May. She also owns Patrick's domains which hasn't been a show for how long now? I see she also took the opportunity to update yesterday for the first time in over 4 months because she knows she'll probably get a bunch of traffic now. I don't know. I don't think this is karma for Taylor charging for her videos. I think that was a mistake and bad advice given to Taylor. But to hoard a show's domain that you have nothing to do with is a little creeptastic.

They do this every year though. This two week break at the end of the year is standard for them. I think it just seems longer this year because Christmas is late in the week. They typically go up to whatever the Friday before Christmas is and then they're done until the new year. They used to always have that last Friday as the xmas sweater party until they took a hiatus from doing that. But usually Christmas is earlier so I don't think it seemed like they started the break as early.

Oh and also, Little Effers didn't come about organically either. It was just like this. She wanted a name for listeners, and again used gaga and the little monsters as an example. I remember people calling back then with equally lame name suggestions until someone called in with little effers. It may have made more sense and flows better, and now it just fits since we're all used to it, but it wasn't an organic beginning.

Chef Michael has been on the show in the past. But I don't think it was for Mac Bar. I thought it was back when he was promoting some kind of event he was doing. Some kind of wine and food festival.

I am really loving these videos. I think each one gets better. My biggest issue is the videography. I think TD is just a novice videographer. I have a feeling she does stuff cheap for Taylor because she gets exposure in exchange vs just having "regular" clients that don't have any kind of public exposure (like doing things for schools or weddings). I know she's young so I'm hoping the more they/she does the better she gets, but I think that's the biggest flaw. Some of the angles and stuff she gets/uses are just not good and sometimes the editing feels really clunky.

I think it's just semantics based on what time of year he was born. She's 32 and fora while she was 32 the same time he was 20. That's 12 years if you do the basic math. So yea, she would have been 11, 11.5, 11 and something when he was born. So she's just rounding. I say I'm 3 years older than my sister even though it's more like 2.5. It's just easier that way.

You're right. Megan was Sirius and just did little vignettes for a bit. She wasn't ever really on Wake Up as a guest. It was a Cosmo mag employee she's talking about.
